I would love for someone to write a very explicit story as to why Guy is called the Noble Green Beast.

If you are looking for well written stories, I wholly recommend Megan Derr. She can be found at amasour.com. Granted her stories are not explicit, but her writing style is so entrancing, you don't miss the smut so much. Her site has tons of stuff including several long, completed novels and for now it's all free. As for the best m/m story I have ever read, that would be Snowflakes and Embers by S. A. Payne. Unfortunately not free, she has a pay to read site, but if you regularly purchase ebooks for about $4 buck for about 100 pages, you may not mind paying $10 so that you could read this story that is several hundred pages and numerous other completed works on there. So, I am most willing to give this a start. Let me tell you about myself. I have an office job nine hours a day. We sell very high end things, so we really don't need a lot of appointments, therefore I have an astounding amount of free time at work and unrestriced access to the internet. I love AFF and want to see it only get better. Although I prefer to maintain this for an author/genre (Slash) I would like to read myself, I would be willing to offer this to anyone who asks. Spoilsport

On a few occasions while reading the comments on stories, I see people ask the author to send them an email when it is updated. Sadly a few a written back to simply say they don't have the time to do such a thing. Most question is: How interested would authors be to have someone else create and manage this type of thing for them. I know alot of people do not want to give out their personal emails, so this other someone could create the account and be responsible for maintaining the contact lists. I would be very interested in doing such a service for authors and readers alike. Let me know your opinion and discuss possible pro's and con's of such an idea.

My screen name is pretty simple. The word paradox describes me perfectly and 13 is my favorite number.

My avatar is of Kyros Christian, also known as thecandyspookie on xtube.com. Yes he really is (or was) a gay porn star. As for the reason...well do you really need ask? Where did I get it? I made it form a pic on his xtube profile page. In the future of course this avatar may change, so if you come back later to find it gone, I most likely changed to Kakashi and/or Iruka from Naruto (my other obsession).

After re-reading my post and then actually paying attention to the stories I follow, I have realized I am actually waiting months for updates. I know people have real lives and such and I am not a writer, so I have no idea how hard it may be. Ugh! I just wish that this site had better search options. That way when I am in the mood for a story with a resolution, I could at least search for completed stories. There really are a lot of good stories on here that, unless you search through every page in their catagory, you'll never find them. Of course that's assuming they are in the right catergory to begin with. Now I am completely off topic.

My favorite pairings are: Yaoi Kakashi/Iruka, but I love to read Iruka/Kakashi as well. Genma with just about any dude Kotetsu/Izumo Sai/Naruto Zabuza/Haku Hentai Jiraiya with any female EXCEPT Tsunade. Don't read Yuri

I was wondering how long most people are willing to wait for a story to be updated before they abandon it? Myself I usually can only wait for about a month then I give up on it. If AFF was able to offer email alerts when upadates are posted then I wouldn't mind waiting longer, but If I have to come every few day just to seek out the story, I lose patience much quicker.

This could possibly be All Souls Pass by S. A. Payne. I have only read it on her pay site though. There is a guy named Luke who has a drug addict room mate named Bear, but he is actually taken in by a vampire named Macy and his human companion York.
