Tag Filter

So, i try and use the content filter when searching for stories to read but everytime i switch to a new page it completely removes my selections and sets it back to the full listings. i'm not sure why it's doing this and n matter what i do it won't stick.

So it's oneshot exclude, complete include

I’m guessing the inu subdomain?  Not relevant to my testing, as I’ll be going across them all.

Yes, it's in the Inu sub.

Okay, when you click search in the menu, the next step is to select filter by tags.  So I chose Complete (include) and One Shot (exclude).

There is a radio button to select include or include.  Once you select your filters, move your cursor to search (under the tags list) and hit enter.

I tried with your search terms and other search terms. I was unable to duplicate the error.

Weird because it's a continuous thing no matter if I'm on PC or mobile and I make sure to click everything, but as soon as I try to switch to a different page it just all goes away like I never selected filters.

It's like changing the page is being seen as clear filter instead.

I wonder if your cursor might be in the wrong place?  Because I make sure mine is nowhere near the “clear filters” option, and actually select the next page from the menu under the search results.

my cursor cant be near the clear option if im selecting a different page from the shortened options it gives me, with the selection it goes from the starting 50 pages to 5 pages, but as soon as i select any page by either clicking the number or even clicking next on mobile and on PC it goes back to having no filter and the pages go back to 50.

I will try and figure out what’s going on, as I can’t replicate the error.  Not in any of the subdomains

Try this for me:

You don’t have to record, just tell me step by step, exactly what you’re doing.  Start to finish.  Also, what browser?  There may be a browser setting that needs adjusted.

So the first step I do is you know I go to your website I go to the fanfiction section I select anime go over select Inuyasha then the categories I select Inuyasha and then subcategories I select the het- male/female and then the next subcategory it's Sesshomaru/Kagome and from there I goto filter content tags and I select complete and make sure it says include then I select one shot make sure it says exclude and then I hit apply filters once that's done I scroll back down I click the number two and it pops back as if I did not do any kind of filters, same if I hit next instead of selecting a certain page. this happens on Google Chrome and on Microsoft edge. And it's happening on PC and mobile. So it's not that I'm accidentally clicking or my cursor is in way or something.

Okay, this one I have to send to manta2g, because the search function should work whether from the top of particular archive, or within a subcategory.  Like you, it doesn’t “stick” past the first page.  You have to re-select, which kind of defeats the purpose

So you were able to replicate the problem this time? Yeah idk what’s going on but I’m glad i was able to find it so that you all may hopefully get it fixed.
