The final battle reaches it's climax, and the Prime Minister uses his last ace to try and avoid defeat, a Teigu that will supposedly give its user another chance. It does, but unfortunately for him, he's not the one that gets a second chance, it's Esdeath. She wakes up to find herself near the beginning of the series, long before the conflict between the Empire and the Revolution really heated up. With her strength and advance knowledge, she could do basically whatever she wanted: destroy the revolution early, assassinate the PM and take over, just about anything.

But all she really cares about is Tatsumi and what she saw in the final battle. After getting taken over by Incursio, he became a beast, rampaging across the battlefield, and she was amazed by it, but also saddened, because all he was was an uncontrolled animal. Esdeath knows he could have the same power and still be in control, but unlike his comrades, she doesn't think it's an issue of him lacking the strength Bulat had to control it, but an issue of mindset. She's confident that, if he could learn to see the world the way she does, to embrace strength and dominance, he'd subjugate the Tyrant without any problem.

So she decides to do just that, intending to grab Tatsumi and mold him in her image. Either Esdeath gets to him before Night Raid, "helping" him find his friends, only to wind up using Aria as the scapegoat to start him down her path, trying to get Tatsumi to torture and punish her for what Aria and her family did to his friends, or gets him at some point after being taken to Night Raid but before anything major happens.

With some coaxing and manipulation from her advance knowledge of him, Esdeath quickly molds Tatsumi into someone who embraces her philosophy and is encouraged to act on it. Anything he does physically is forgiveable, as long as he only loves her, because whoever he does it to must be weaker than him. Seryu and Kurome could separately pick fights with him over comments about Ogre and Akame respectively, which he responds to by beating them down and raping them into submission. Esdeath sees no problem because they started the fight.

She exterminates Wild Hunt in advance, but grabs Cosmina and Dorothea because they can be useful, interchangeably beating them down herself and getting Tatsumi to fuck them. Cosmina breaks down quickly, while Dorothea just learns to respect the pecking order (Esdeath, Tatsumi, the Jaegers, her as long as she's useful and obedient, everything else) and enjoy the ride.

As for anyone they capture from Night Raid, they get the same treatment, usually with some level of audience: Seryu gets to watch Tatsumi rape Sheele after Sheele cuts off her limbs, Kurome gets to be in on it with Akame, that sort of thing. Of course, what Esdeath looks forward to most is when they capture Mine, and how she'll break under Tatsumi. No one else will understand, but it will be her victory.

Long story short, Esdeath goes back in time, uses the opportunity to turn Tatsumi to her philosophy on life to keep him from turning into a mindless animal, in the process convincing him that him raping certain women is okay.

Same here; granted there are a shortage of fanfics like this, also I’d add Aria to the group just because keeping her alive as a broken slave would be a worse punishment for her then him killing her
