Hello there- magusfang. I was just asking about something to do with your interests on your profile. Now please don't take this the wrong way- but does it actually say you like ritalin? I was just asking about that because i've been to the website: http//www.drugfreeworld.com and read all about ritalin. (the side effects of it, what occurs as a result of abusing this drug, what classification of drugs this drug is grouped in, among other important information on all drugs on the market) People can even watch a video of the same documentary i have on dvd: "the truth about drugs" which talks about each classification of drug in terms of the "full run down" on each one if you know what i mean.

There are 11 classifications of drugs talked about in this documentary. What makes this documentary look so good is it has actual drug addicts who used/abused drugs in each of the 11 different categories. I can tell you without rechecking the website myself, ritalin is used for treating adhd (attention deficit hyperactivity disorder) it's also a simulant. I know i used to take it when i was about 14 years old. People who take this drug will be twice as likely to become suicidal as other people. It's a class 2 narcotic prescription drug. Another drug that's exactly the same as it a drug called adderall. (which i also take for awhile too) People can develop ocd (obsessive compulsive disorder) as well.

There's a lot more you can learn from looking at the website address i mentioned. If you just wrote what you did in your profile as a joke, i wouldn't worry about it. I hope it's just a joke. But my lips are sealed if it's not a joke. Anyways, thanks for the pm. I look forward to receiving more pm's from you in the future. Don't forget you can also send me an email to my gmail: cgsblueredyellow2014@gmail.com. Remember- lots of love for all my fellow adult-fanfiction members including you. Bye for now!

I don't believe you're a smartass magusfang. I believe you're in fact a smart guy. You shouldn't put yourself down like that. I was just asking you if that part of your profile was a joke or not. I'm not offended by what you wrote. It's all good man. Thanks for the pm. Bye for now!

The difference DemonGoddess061 is that i believe it is an insult and a put down for somebody to call their self a smartass. I understand if you don't have a problem with people saying about themselves or even each other but i was raised and brought up to believe that's not how people should think about themselves or each other. It's impolite and rude where i come from. So if you would like me to change the way i think at least while i'm on the forum i'll totally agree to doing that. But if you want to keep my teachings the way there are just let me know.

Whatever works for you. I have to do as you and the other staff say. I was stating the way i was taught when i was growing up. But if i have to do things a little different while i'm member of this forum community i can live with that. Please send a pm at your convenience. And thanks for your pm. Bye for now!

We're a very unstuffy bunch here, to be honest. And while I'm an archive mod, I'm also an author on the site, so I really do get it from both perspectives. I see my role as a mod as helping members figure out the site, and explaining what we require, more than being a disciplinarian.

What do you mean she's a spanker? How can she spank any of us when we're all in different locations?

Magusfang is being silly again. We tease each other a lot, and it's all done in good fun.

In reality, we are all actually in different places. Although magusfang was actually HERE and we didn't see each other. 8 million people, give or take. It's easy to miss just one. :D

Oh ok. i thought Magusfang was saying that you get angry very easy when you don't like what someone says. So no problem. Thanks for clearing up any confusion i might had. Bye for now!

Sorry to have missed you Bronx, but I don't get to see my little girl often enough; besides it's just creepy when people you know from the net show up at your door step, they all look like this... very-happy-penguin-smiley-emoticon.gif

Oh, no wait, like this FreddyAnim01.gif

I've actually only met a very few people I know from online, and that's just good sense, to be honest. I just like to keep believing that my city is actually just a bunch of small towns stuck together. :D

That's what I'm saying, you need to be extra careful about meeting online persona's, I could be Freddy or a dancing penguin - either is terrifying...afraid.gif

A: Everyone online creates a fake persona it seems. Since 1992, I have crossed paths with an overwhelming number of con artists who try to get something out of anyone they can connive into believing they actually care. :( The net does have some areas that are full of crazies of all classes unfortunately. At least here, the structure of our forum lacks the normal pressurized expectation of "pretending to fit in" garbage inherent with so many other places online. I find it refreshing that I can be my normal, opinionated self. Smart ass comments are allowed which is wonderful to get considering what a politically correct minefield the rest of the real world insists upon upholding as unspoken law. It is nice to be able to enjoy the freedom of speaking my mind without too much censure over it. So to all new folks, welcome to AFF's forums, and have fun letting your hair down and undoing those stuffy ties. :) Some of us might nibble a bit, but we don't really bite unless it is requested. :) ROFL

One thing you gotta know about Magus.... he's rarely serious, unless it's about family, and he's one of the most sarcastic i've ever known, in a very good way. He can give a joke as well as he can take one. Just watch the morphine injections for the next few days Magus, we love the loopy writing, but, you gotta get healthy man, those girls need you around and safe.

horny, the 2 things, I find, that help me out is : 1. be respectfull and 2. don't take everything so serious. we are here to have some fun an be entertained. we play and discuss stuff and sometimes we may even learn something and that is great but we also tease and some of us are sarcastic ... We are not solving the world's problems here. Magus I said it before enjoy the legal drugs because real life does suck SOMETIMES but if your lucky it is good most of the time.

peace

I'm sorry to say jelad but this lonely dinosaur doesn't do any illegal drugs or abuse prescription drugs. Greymon has enough problems besides being an extremely lonely dinosaur digimon. I don't like anyone being sarcastic or teasing anyone else. And i do take everything everybody says seriously. Life is too short not to. I try my best to be respectful of everybody when i'm addressing anyone. If i could i would solve the world problems myself. Because as a species we suck at everything, and i hate to say it but it's true. I'm not having fun at the expense of someone else's feelings get hurt.

And unless i have a good reason to start, i trust no one in this world. I actually trust 1 single animal more so than i would ever trust the entire human race. I love animals. They were here first. So when we screw up this world, they suffer just as much as we do. But 9 times out of 10 people don't care what harm they do to mother earth. And that's my problem because it's the earth which gave us humans life. So when we mess up the planet, we're showing we're not grateful for even being born. But that's just my outlook on humans and the world. And i'll leave it at that.

I respect your right to believe what you want and I am ok with it. what you said I true, to a certain point, humans have a great capacity for violence and cruelty but we are also capable of great kindness toward each other. we have done terrible things and great things and if we don't destroy ourselves I can see great things in our future.

there is a difference between playing and teasing with people and being cruel to each other. trust me I was bullied all threw middle school so bad that I had to be escorted from class to class. My parents considered a law suit against the school for not protecting me, but we eventually just moved away. Life got much better after that. I tell you this so you know that I can tell the difference between playing and being mean to each other.

But that's just my outlook on humans and the world. And i'll leave it at that.

I don't do drugs at all if I can help it - I'll go for homeopathics or vitamins if at all possible and avoid taking pharmaceutical drugs. The smell of illegal drugs - and marijuana, as that's now legal where I live - offends my nose, makes me nauseous, and gives me a migraine, so I've never even been tempted. I do, however, drink, and I have some hereditary immunities from alcoholics and heavy drinkers in my family in previous generations, so there are some alcoholic things I can drink and be almost unaffected by. (Rum is lovely but doesn't do much to me; Crown hits me hard and fast. Just as an example.)

I don't see a problem with teasing people - in my family, it's how we show that we care. We're very canine/feline in our interpersonal relationships, by which I mean that we're wary around people we don't know or don't trust, very formal with people we don't like, but we play with the people we like and enjoy spending time with. Our teasing gets out of hand sometimes, but we're only human and we're pretty good about backing off if we know we've offended someone. But we need that outlet of play with people we care for, because it's stress relief from the daily grind with people who know not to be offended. I can't play with anyone I don't feel comfortable with, won't play with (for example) my dad's wife. Used to be, I could only play very carefully with my own mother, but I knew she needed that outlet, the fun, so I kept at it and she's in a much better place mentally than she was for at least a decade or two. (Not saying I'm the only reason - one of my brothers moved out and that helped, and one of my aunts quit taking most of the meds that were causing her serious problems, etc. - but play is very important to us and if it can't be out in the woods, it has to include teasing.) Also, we all have a love of snark and sarcasm and irony, and so a well-timed remark can have us all dying of laughter, which is sometimes the only fun some of us get on a given day.

Our family pets seem to have our kind of humor, as well. One of my dad's dogs, for example, was protective inside the house, but if she didn't protest when the person first came in, they were safe unless they got violent. Her looks - eye color, fur pattern - scared a number of people, though, and she was an ornery dog with my family's sense of play...so she'd stalk them. Every time she was called out on it ("Mokkie!" in a chiding tone), she'd raise her head, lift her ears, drop her jaw and let her tongue loll out, wag her tail and pant doggy laughter - basically admit that she was teasing them. Most of the people eventually realized she was no threat at all to them, despite the stalking. She only really objected to one person that I heard of and I had to explain that one to my dad, because he didn't get it, but the man she tried to keep out of the house was abusive to his dog and, from what I could see, probably to his daughter as well.

Like jelad, I've had people try to bully me, though with me it's never worked - apparently my large family and utter confidence that they'll have my back if I have trouble with someone discourages even bullies who have ties to people of authority in the school. *shrug* Had a bully going after a lesbian friend of mine in high school at a dance; I dragged him away from her and spun him away again every time he tried to go back to her, our friends gathered around her, he tried to swing me around, I braced myself and he ended up knocking over a column and in trouble with the teachers.... It made us all laugh a bit despite the anger (the irony of him causing himself problems while trying to cause problems for our friend), and he left her alone after that. Possibly because she stayed in a group of no less than three to avoid him. Possibly because I was there and watching him, too. Most guys don't take well to being made a fool of by a female they're not interested in or friends with.

About the animals and the world, yeah, I'm with you on that.
