Something happens to Kagome, and she seperates herself from the group. She ends up in the demon slayers village, and goes to visit Midoriko. Midoriko then talks to her and starts to train her to be a warrior miko. If I'm not getting two stories jumbled up, I believe that Kagome sleeps with Koga, to give him closure.
