I tend to keep a copy on my hard drive, another copy on a flash drive, and a third copy on Google Docs.

Oh yeah. Got promoted to full time the first thing management did was try to make me work nine days in a row.
That’s the thing I do like about my current gig… it’s paperwork and signoffs to do overtime, it’s illegal for me to work for free, therefore bureaucratic resistance against having to put in extra hours. Gotta love red tape!

While it may seem quiet of the surface, it’s been quite busy behind the scenes for AFF.
We’ve been busy doing a security sweep of user accounts. Accounts with invalid or disposable e-mails have been purged.
Currently, we are merging the over 5 k users with duplicate (or more) accounts down to a single account per user.-

My day job has been a gong show of late, troubleshooting AFF's woes has remained on my mind.

Caught the ass hat hacker in the act….. The ass is a member and targeting the story manager story info update. Restored the db from an earlier clone and have now laid a trap….

I’m making progress, turned updating off for now as I don’t want a breach while I’m at work. That being said, looks like they were bogged down by the trap that they didn’t get too far. You can post new stories and chapters, but editing existing is turned off.

Now that I’ve slept, I’m cloning the db as a quick backup then I’ll be unlocking areas starting with areas that require login. so story manager will be unlocked in about a half hour from now.-

So my father-in-law recently survived a stroke, unfortunately. (He’s a real narcissistic ass) and that side of the family is pushing for my husband and I to send well wishes to him…. So, any suggestions for bland / neutral ways to say “congratulations on your continued existence.”?

Great to hear.
Small thing I noticed, not a serious concern right away. Under the Television category, the tab title (forgot what it’s officially called), is actually “Telivision”. Like I said, not a hugely important thing to fix immediately.

Update! Story display is now in the new code, and you can now from withing a story one click add a story to your current reading or recommended reading. You can also now delete current reading or recommended reading stories from your profile.

The archives are slowly creeping to life! The New indexes are roling out with some changes I’m sure authors will like.

And I still have my day job to worry about. (I get a decent nap on the bus durng the commute there and back.)
I have two carrots hanging at the end of my stick, the first is my winter sewing and the other is to finish fixing my 3d printer. -

So I know I have been a ghost and there were updates to be done but…… Life has been a pain in the ass with my regular work place going out of business and the chaos going on because of it. Still very burnt out and only recently have I had enough function in my hands to type properly. I hope everyone can be a bit more patient and I will do my best to get the rest of the updates done as I get time when not a zombie in pain.

Me, personally, I’d rather you were fully functioning first.
Life has been treating me much the same, chronically short handed at work, loads of stupid shit to do FOR work, which means being overtired and not daring to venture into the db itself for those kinds of repairs.
