    I really enjoyed reading this story that had good Halloween like theme and lots of sexual tension. The detail thajack-of-lanterns are use to ward against evil is a very clever idea. The final sexscene of the story fitted everything together very well.

    One possible objection from me would be that the number of monsters is a bit over the top. Walking between the houses could include dangers on a "magical" night, but the actual combat feels a bit like a distraction from the main event of the story.

    And that’s a very valid objection. In hind sight I should have lessened it some. The reason its there is cause I was plotting a much longer piece it just got… smaller, instead of my usual thicker. I perhaps should have gone back and lessened it some.

    Thank ye! The mouse wasn’t Ravyn’s familiar, just a presence in her home kinda meant to show her isolation and her connection with nature. Plus I thought it was cute hence the turning over and over. So glad you liked!

    And that ending… I struggled with how I wanted to end it for weeks. It was originally gunna be far darker, and had plans for all kinds of follow on chapters, but I decided I had too many WIPs and this might be better as a fun little poly ending. Thank you!

    Amusingly, it was meant to originally be far darker. But, I kinda wanted a happy ending for Ravyn so I switched gears a bit part way through. It was fun to write, though it took me the better part of 2 months to do so. Still, thank ye! Glad the succubus came across well.

    Thank you!  I’m pretty sure I’ve mentioned this elsewhere in this thread, but I got my start writing Gundam fanfiction, and writing the action scenes has always been fun.  I should probably write another space battle one of these days.  Not to spoil anything I’ve started reading recently, but you write some pretty intense action scenes yourself, so that’s a serious compliment.

    I’d love to see you tackle some space battles in the future. But getting yer start with Gundam, it does show, and yes! Action scenes are always fun to write (least to me). And thank ye as well, I do pride myself in my action scenes.

    It’s tricky aye. Sometimes it helps to have those little details pushed in elsewhere, so you can concentrate on the flow of stuff in the moment.

    Certainly! I’m glad you did lamp shade it in the end, and it certainly allowed for a bit more depth to things. Made it read better to me at least. It’s nice to see more of the Non-Action guy that’s not just comic relief.

    And once again I am really glad at how popular Luzurial’s “Fine, I’ll let you talk to my boss” moment is.  Because, as I said when I read (some of) MRaD, fuck that guy.

    I’ve not played enough of Evil Within, but I can see the influence and aesthetic, while still being very much your own thing. It was very very cool, and as you said, visceral. Very visceral.

    And yes. Fuck that guy. :P

But the real kicker is good-girl Penny (perfect choice of name for a mousy bookworm, BTW) getting drawn into their shenanigans. It's like the sex is a force unto itself, pulling in anyone who comes too close.

    I just wanted to write a pure smutty mc smut tale. And I think I succeeded. I wanted a bit of rivalry that stirred in a lot of sexual tension for these two, just to have some fun in a library setting. Thank ye kindly for the review!!

    By far my favorite line <3 Second favorite 

    "My sin is not pride, Sister Maelice, I can admit when I am beaten.” By far the most dangerous one of the bunch.

    With a name like that I kinda feel like she was destined to become an Anti-Nun. The lore is delight, Look up The Vampire Huntress. Its the closest to this flavor you've concocted. The acknowledgement that the world is dreadfully gray.

    I really enjoyed that line myself from Maelice, and creating the antagonist was great fun. I wanted him to seem dangerous, intelligent, and truly someone to beware of. I think I hit the mark there.

    As to the name, I was searching through Breton Celtic names and came across Maelice, and I loved it. It’s closeness to Malice certainly helped fit the setting and the character as well.

    I’ll have to look up The Vampire Huntress as well… is it on this site?
