As much as I complain about my husband, never let anyone think I don’t love him. I need him more fiercely than air; I love him more than I can ever express. This is the long, sleepless night before his horrible back injury is either fixed or fucked up worse. There’s nothing I can do besides be present, be patient, and be here for him; naturally, I’m a mess, three panic attacks down, and too worried to do anything but sit here and watch him snore.
Cold had better not leave me alone in this world. He’d better come through this ordeal alive. Otherwise, I swear, either I’ll be the first widow in history to find a way to haunt her husband’s ghost, or I’ll go batshit crazy trying.

Good news! Cold’s surgery was a success! 💜 He’s crippled right now and in the kind of pain that puts people out of their minds, but it’ll improve with time. Until then, he’s got me.
