  1. Well, been a while since I was able to get on here. Life is an inn for the imp of perverse meets Murphey’s law. Think I need a vacation from life these days.

I really wish it would. Doug committed Suicide with a sawed off shotgun this week. Helping his wife clean up is going to be gut churning. I’m so tired of this unpleasant suicide habit happening around me. It’s a sign that America’s going to shit hardcore no matter what the Wall street number crunchers keep yapping.

Jesus, fuck, that’s some shit to deal with. I feel for you.

Thanks, and I know it better than most. Trump’s America is mostly part time jobs and not much else. Most families are a single paycheck away from losing their homes and all sorts of crap. 2019 is a freaking nightmare for most people I know. 15 hour work weeks don’t work for people. Only for pathological lying government morons.

  2. I am so tired of looking for an editor who understands editing is not idea tossing! As if Wes and I don’t have a plethora of ideas already? We need someone who can tell the difference between showing and telling content, or lecturing paragraphs, not someone to take over the 100 plus chapters we need to get fixed and posted for fuck’s sake!

  3. So darned busy still. Hope Everyone has a lovely Labor Day Holiday that celebrates it.

  4. My friend had knee replacement surgery, and we finally got the Jeep windshield replaced. Making progress is a good feeling. My friend’s finally on the mend and won’t be confined to a walker much longer.  For all the craziness in life, I’m feeling pretty good about the last couple of weeks now that they are done. Now to focus on the next thing on the must do list.

That’s wonderful news about your friend! And hooray to replacing the windshield.

It’s funny how the to-do list never gets shorter, though, isn’t it? But we persist!

@CloverReef  Musk things he can get us there in 100 years so maybe you’ll live long enough to see it since he’s leading a group of eccentric Billionaires in the charge for space since Governments have turned on science of late.

GeorgeGlass: Yes things are looking good for  now.

Bronx, I know the honey do list never ends . . . LMAO, Fix one thing and the next thing breaks. But it is nice to finally get a couple super major expensive repairs out of the way do\\for a while. Hehehe. Now I can go back to all the cheap fix stuff I been ignoring. :)

  5. My main computer died. Am stuck with the net hating backup dino until I can get the new machine into the shop and running again. oh well, at least I still have a computer for all the beta/editing stuff I do on the side.

Ugh, that is the WORST feeling in the world. I have a generally lobotomized laptop I can use if my computer acts up, but it’s sooo slow, and I can barely even write, let alone do anything else on it. I had to use it when my hard drive died earlier this year, until I could run out and get a new hard drive, replace the dead one, reinstall Windows 10 and all its updates, and then migrate all my data over from the old drive, which was readable still if I slaved it to the new drive. :bash:  A week of my life fixing that mess… Note to self: do not buy a computer with a Seagate hard drive. Pay to upgrade to a good Western Digital.

      Kurahieiritr

I hear you, and understand all about crap hard drives.  People give me the side eye for not buying a computer at all unless I know the hard drive company involved.  Frustrating as it is,  I do get a couple messages answered average before I’m kicked off line. Get back on and repeat.  The machine is really cramping my ability as a beta. I have to reboot the email program 5 times to get a meaty message to the writer. :( Still have some connection so I’m not going to bitch too much in the end. Though I am super frustrated at the speed problems.

  6. Hope all the moms on here had a Happy Mother’s day yesterday. One of the kids I helped raise nabbed me for a Sushi Meal yesterday. Was great to spend time with her, since I hadn’t in 6 month. Really miss some of my heart adopted kids. They all grew up and got busy in their own lives.

I’m glad you had a wonderful day! :D

I had lunch with my son—we’d done the dinner thing a week early because crowds. But it was lovely to spend the afternoon with him, because his take on life is refreshingly different. :D

Wonderful to hear that you got to have a lovely meal with your boy. How’s he doing? How’s your daughter too? Are they doing well?

  7. Good grief! Thank all that’s sacred for 2017 being over and done! I’m so freaking exhausted mentally, emotionally, and even physically after that insanity of a year!

2017 is a year I’m glad to have behind me. The gods know it was a disaster from start to finish.

Could not agree more if I tried. Reminds me of the Native American theory about the Age of Chaos where the world undergoes a massive shift that causes a lot of folks major grief and headaches. It’s part of the full Black Snake Prophesy stuff. The Age of Chaos is the make or break point for all life on land. So not a pleasant thought.

      Yeah, 2017 made 2016 look like 2015. :)

  8. Been such a busy year over here that I’ve barely even had time to visit this site. I moved into a new place among other drastic changes.

Thanks for the link Disiderius Price.

Bronx, I am looking at it as a purge year. The craziness has done much to clean out drama queens and negative folks that leach off others. So the Temple will be in far better stead with their ilk gone. Plus the temple can be in a better placement in the new bungalow place since we have a huge yard.

  9. Very long time no see. Things have been crazy. Lots of changes started in March. Been a rough year.

Same as last round, the elders all seem to be determined that they are dying as groups. Another married couple within 3 weeks of each other, and so forth has been the norm this year. Moving into a bigger place and other things also been on the catch up list.

    3. BronxWench

      BronxWench

Sorry to hear the craziness continues unabated. :(

But maybe the move is a good start in getting to a quieter, more productive time for you.

The new place is great. No leaking/rotted out ceiling collapsing. Is all that matters to me. The boys have their own room, and I have a bathtub to soak my messed up hip. May still be holding the different families together all the time, but I am not afraid to sleep at night.

  10. Doing another dog/house sitting job. Waiting on results for the medical exam I got a couple days ago. For once things are bearably quiet . . . Almost enough to make me paranoid because it’s quiet. Think I’ve gotten too used to crazy of late.

  11. Getting in  the last of the parts to overhaul the ‘92 Jeep I inherited. Cannot wait to get that messed up vehicle on blocks and tear the front end down and rebuild it the right way. May have lost most of our tools, but we did have our emergency tool stash safe here at home. Resetting the double axles will be a pain in the butt, yet I’m looking forward to the challenge.

  12. I begin to suspect that people have lost their minds in this area. Late last night, a crazed streaker raced over my roof with police in hot pursuit, waking half the neighborhood. Seems there is some new drug out here that makes people hallucinate, strip, and even try to eat other people. Why??????

I hear you. I don’t know if the guy was good looking or not. Didn’t get a good look at him as it was dark out. He was scrawny from what I could see. Got the impression he was probably younger than my grown sons.

    3. GeorgeGlass

Kush, perhaps? It’s a problem where I live. And my wife (the social worker) says it’s very easy to get hold of a bad batch that can make you extra-crazy—or seriously ill. One day last month, the police had to take a dozen people from the park to the hospital because they got poisoned by the stuff.

    4. Kurahieiritr

      Kurahieiritr

I heard the cops talk about Flakka, so I looked it up online. Damned nasty drug from what I learned, George. The people strip and go crazy, and as they come down they try to go cannibal. The other top contender was bath salts according to the cops.

  13. Wowsers! I’ve been gone a while and totally missed all the new stuff happening on here. Whole new look for the forums it seems. If only I had enough time and felt good enough to go exploring beyond the main fall update. :)

  14. Corporate America seems determined to prove exactly how crooked and corrupt and dishonest it can get. The insurance company is trying to get out of replacing anything that was stolen.

  15. Out of the frying pan and into the fire. Storage locker got robbed twice in 3 weeks. Lost over 3 thousand bucks in tools alone. So screwed this year

I'm going to have to borrow gear, and replace 2 $600.00 a piece Canvas base camp tents before November 10th this year for the yearly base camp service I do for Hunters each year. I have my stomping grounds that have Mule deer and I'm well respected for my abilities as a chuck cook and real abilities to rough it in style. I'm so freaking furious!!!!!!

Jeez, that sucks a substantial amount of ass. Sorry, K.

    4. Kurahieiritr

      Kurahieiritr

The insurance company that is supposed to make good on the stolen goods is already talking about how they can't honor their contract so yeah, sucks ass is taking on all new meanings. Plus, my roommate has 4 grand in pro mechanic's tools that got stolen and that's even harsher than my current fucked up situation because he needs the tools for his work!

Thanks guys. Most of my need of a vacation is for real world craziness. This has been a really rotten year for me.

  17. Hope everyone is doing well on here. Still busy with real world responsibilities. Missing everyone, and getting to hang out in the shout box.

  18. Been a while since I could pop in and say hello. Sorry about the long term hiatus. Real life is crazy.

Thanks guys for thinking of me. My 24 year old son is a wreck and a half since he found his father dead several days after the fact. It is very hard to handle his blinding rage fits, and the pathologically lying girlfriend from hell that he saddled himself with for some strange reason. Been a very rough few months with cleaning up the disaster left in my Ex's suicides wake.

  19. Took us a month to raise the money to get Tim out of the morgue so the damned cremation could get done! Death is damned expensive!

  20. Disaster after disaster has been the theme for 2015. Another death that struck the family in time for thanksgiving with all the trappings of nightmare involved. Still in the cleanup phase for this latest mess.

  21. Is the year done yet? Or can I check out of the constant chaos soon? Head smacking desk.

Funny thing is that the holies and such are not being lazy at all. I simply have the best relationship with the New age Christians, the Jewish group, the Ba'Hai's, and the Buddhists who participate alongside a couple Catholic branches in the Peace 12/12 initiative here. I'm the one priest that the other religious leaders respect and can work with the easiest. I don't have a resentment problem unlike several priests and priestesses from the covens and groves of other groups so...

    3. Kurahieiritr

      Kurahieiritr

yeah, everyone asks me to be the one who coordinated as I have the 25 year plus solid reputation for zero egomania, and even the reservation Medicine people know I won't screw anyone over. My lack of chip on shoulder toward any specific religion (Only people get my chip) and ego, coupled with running a genuine open hermetics/training place is what makes me so ideal to everyone who chooses to participate.

    4. Kurahieiritr

      Kurahieiritr

Guess you could say it is one helluva big deal to have so many religion leaders have so much faith in me as a person, although it is mega exhausting. The fact they all respect me enough to work with me specifically, and I shut down the resentments and back biting moments is proof that Peace 12/12 can work when the right person is placed in the leadership position.

  22. The universe hates me. No other explanation fits. At least my kid brother is out of the hospital after almost dying. Gah!

Thanks Bronx. Big glompy hugs right back. This year has been pretty damned intense for some crazy reason. Not sure how else to view it, other than it is intense. the good spots are beyond good, and the bad, . . . well those have been indescribable tension and ruthless determination to overcome some weeks. :( My think cap is in overload by the time I get those moments sorted out.

  23. I am finally getting a break after a month of supreme chaos. I so needed the breathing room. Am unwinding after being a stress monkey for the duration of July.

Thanks, Bronx. Was great to get to drop in for a bit. I needed the chance to chat. :)

  24. Got to meet my son's girlfriend. Was a pleasant surprise that he brought her around and did the introductions when I did not even know he had a girlfriend until yesterday.

  25. Funeral is done. Company is heading out after 3 weeks stay. Janet is stable but nmo improvement and Terbush is now in rehab. What a fucked up month!
