you know its cold when the bars in Wisconsin close! -60 windchills! I unfortantly have to go to work for the first time in 3 weeks and freeze my a** off! lol if i call in, it will count against me! ugh!!!

good news! stitches came out today! i can go back to work on Wensday!! but first! celebrating the last 4 days off and also my birthday! i cant believe i am 34! sheesh

woot! first draft of my revised story ‘coitus conundrum’ chapter 1 is beginning to form!! woooooot!!! once i redo all the chapters, i am going to delete the old story and upload the new one! *fingers crossed*

went for post op appointment. both toes are healing perfectly, but i still got stitches for another week! doctor wants to be sure. going to try to update or redo stories

So yea. I am getting surgery on my toe again thursday, plus my right toe is getting done as well. i got on LOA at work and will be off til feburary 2nd. sooo my goal is to read, update stories. *fingers cross*

if you have the right insurance, they could have you get with a surgeon and sedate you instead of seeing and feeling them take care of it while you are awake. the first time i did it, i got shot in the foot and was limping for a day in a half. i sooo wanted to kick the doc in the face. now i got sedated and they took care of it. sorry if i scare you des

Mine’s likely the cheapest…. (given how my employer works)…. Sounds like I only want to do it one foot at a time (since the nails are on different feet).

my moms surgery went well. shes home resting. she also had the doctor take out her nail on her right foot. so shes in a boot and a cast! lol

hahaha love pokemon go now! can add friends! XD my ear hurts like hell and i went to the walk in to get it flushed out and all of it didnt come out so now i still cant hear, it hurts (a little) and i gotta use ear drops to try to clear it out! ugh

cant wait for vacation the first week of august! actually my moms getting surgery on her other foot! hopefully being home will give me motivation to write again! its been toooooooo long!!!!

just watched the first half of episode 1 of marvels cloak and dagger and was bored. its still recording. will rewatch it and the second episode to see if it gets any better.

In all honesty, I think everyone who lives in a household should pull their own weight. It’s a huge amount of work making it all come together as far as keeping the place clean, cooking, shopping, laundry, and yes, doing dishes. I do it for two households, and while I tend to give the daft bugger a pass given that he works 60+ hours a week, I expect the kids to help out, whether at home or at the lake. So, while I understand you feel like it’s a lot to ask, the reality is that someone has to do it, and it can’t always be your mother, or your father.

I agree with Bronxie. All four of us work, but mostly just two of us (my son and I) do the bulk of the chores. Inside and out. We all do our own laundry, but jeez, it would be nice if there was more load sharing.

it would be nice. My mom had foot surgery and has COPD and dad just cooks. he does sometimes help with yard work, but it mostly falls on my hands. and when i don't do it right away, i get yelled at or belittled. my dad does 99% of the yelling at me.
