And now I’ve had my colonoscopy without anesthetic.  The procedure itself wasn’t a problem at all; the hours of horrific diarrhoea before it, on the other hand, now that was nasty.

While my husband fed the cats a moment ago, I squirted the younger one’s liquid medicine down his throat. Woozle, the little shit, let half the dose drip out of his mouth and roll down my shirt and shorts. I grumbled about it—because that medicine stains, turns into tar, and smells like rotten fish a roadkill—and what did Cold say?
”Well. Pussy likes to dribble.”
 I married this clown. I married him. (He’s not wrong, though.)

It has been a LONG while since I’ve been active here! And I don’t know how many this will reach but here goes. About ten years ago, someone reached out and I’m guessing gave me a link to one of their stories, possibly for the purpose of me trying to be a beta? I’m not sure: I really suck at being a beta. As shown because I finally went through my files and found it. I’ve already asked my closest friends but it’s a no from them. IF ANY OF YOU HAS EVER SHARED A STORY WITH ME, PLEASE LET ME KNOW: this story is good and I would like to tell the author and apologize.

The Naming of Cats

When I tell you, a cat must have THREE DIFFERENT NAMES.
First of all, there’s the name that the family use daily,

     All of them sensible everyday names.
There are fancier names if you think they sound sweeter,
     Some for the gentlemen, some for the dames:

But I tell you, a cat needs a name that’s particular,
     A name that’s peculiar, and more dignified,
Else how can he keep up his tail perpendicular,

Such as Bombalurina, or else Jellylorum—
     Names that never belong to more than one cat.

Finally can got to a point where I can think of my book again.
I decided to pause in the rewrite and start the 2nd one. Since by being further down the road I know what happens and can foreshadow things in book 1 better. We’ll see if I went supercrazybonkers or that it works.

Armed Forces Day is for those who are serving the nation.  Veterans Day is for those who have served.  Memorial Day is for those who died in service of the United States.

Got about five months to work on a Halloween story.

I had a mini break alone last week.  I had dinner at a fancy Italian restaurant.  Everyone around me was eating fancy meals with glasses of wine and champagne that they were clinking together.  I had pizza, mousse for dessert and a mug of hot chocolate.  I’m a takeaway and fast food joint kind of guy.  These are not my people.

The procrastination station has returned.  We have a chatbox zone again in the forums.
