Galadriel is pretty much the greater evil of the story and at this point only Sauron himself is capable of knocking her down a peg. No, I’m not joking. She has glimmers of self-awareness that flicker and fade just as quickly as the story itself won’t let her be wrong.( She’s pretty much the most empowered Mary Sue in recent history) The Harfoots are evil to the core. Let’s leave them to die turned to lets steal their wheels so they’ll absolutely die. Forget orcs, the only reason anyone is alive is because they’re avoiding these murder monsters. Orcs are more sympathetic and they’re the minions of evil. Exiling evil herself absolutely was the right call as even when she’s apologizing for manipulating someone. She’s still un-apologetically doing it. “Because I cannot stop” Durin’s subplot is the best part of RoP. The actors are having fun with what they’re given. The only reason sauron’s acolytes are about is they want to steal the Harfoot’s unabashed evil for themselves and for screen time. The Mithril thing.

Alrighty then…
I watched Episode 5 of the Rings of Power.  
There is so much wrong in this episode I don’t even know where to start!
 Mithril is not a melted Silmaril.  The Silmarilli cannot be destroyed.   Galadriel is wearing the sigil for the House of Feanor.  She is not of that house.  She is of the House of Finarfin. Tar-Miriel never went to Middle Earth.  In fact, when Ar-Pharazon goes to Middle Earth, by this time, he has forced Tar-Miriel into marriage and usurped the throne of Numenor.  She is supposed to be Queen Regnant, not Queen Regent. I could go on further, but this episode has me even more furious at how they have destroyed the legendarium.

I think we all need to agree that Rings of Power counts as a crime against humanity and amazon sued for war crimes. Episode five… here I come.

In honor of that soulless bleak caricature that is the hell I’ve been forced to watch that is rings of power.
I kinda want to do a porn heavy, LOTR dark fanfic safe in the knowledge of no matter what I do.
It will never approach the level of desecration that amazon has inflicted on the rest of us.
The LOTR stories on this site is lightyears better even the bleak gritty ones and for that they all should be commended and certainly celebrated.

So uh first time I’ve been hired then released within the first day. So either it was a fluke or the economy might not be doing well.

“Okay Google, in 30 minutes, remind me to put lube on my bike chain."
30 minutes later, I get “Put boob on my bike chain.”
Sounds uncomfortable.

okay 3 chapters left. I’m going to to try to find a better job so I can nip another problem in the bud. The grand irony of all. Money.

My smartass husband almost doomed us all. He’s eating animal crackers and found a cookie that appeared to be two different critters stuck together. What’s he suggest? ”Hey. Think we can fix this chimera with alchemy?” 

No, Cold. HAYELL no. We are not breaking the alchemical taboo in twenty-twenty-anything, this is not the decade to risk it! There are two whole anime series about just why we don’t mess around with that! 
 

Oh thank god that weird tonal shift was only around the last five chapters.

Still revising, its a good thing I’m going through chapter by chapter and have an outline cause I can tell there’s this weird tone shift I have to solve.
Anyone else ever look at your own writing go be confused of a weird tone shift?

So, why do they even bother printing “best-by” dates for chocolate chips?  Seems rather pointless.

Ever have a story idea so stupid that you had to write it, just to see if you could pull it off?
I have had such an idea. It’s a furry story about four boys from a racoon-like race whose island home is under occupation by tiger-like invaders. The boys manage to find an ancient artifact that they hope will give them superpowers to drive the invaders away.
Instead, the artifact turns them into a boy band. 
God help me, the story going to be called “Band Together.”

The goodnews 90% done with the revamp. Tying the loose threads into a serviceable plot. Trying so hard everything will be ready soon!
