Yeah, but if I’m spending time editing, it’s not writing.  Plus, there’s that dread, I work on story Y when I realize I should’ve foreshadowed in story X… easy to alter when it’s web-posted instead of formally published.

That’s what an editor is for. =p

You just have to use a regular spellcheck when you’re done/ before you give it to an editor. Minimal editing for maximum writing <3

I’ve heard that’s not a good way to keep an editor.  The expectation, if you’ve gone traditional publishing, is that you’ve done at LEAST one round of self-editing, and many passes of proofreading/checking, to get it as good as you can w/o outside help, before you query to try to snag a publisher.
