There’s no obvious rhyme or reason to which stories are getting them, as some are in Cartoons and some are in Originals (the only 2 archive sections in which I have stories posted). A recent post from @InBrightestDay suggests that he’s getting them, too. Anything to be done besides deleting them?

While it’s possible this is meant to be some form of satire, I personally find including such individuals as Dylann Roof in fan fiction offensive, especially as the “story” in question was published to the site six months (almost to the day) after the white supremacist committed his acts of murder.

Regardless, it is not my opinion, but the moderators’ which matters. Material that may appear to be inflammatory to me may not be deemed so in a more general sense to the HP fandom/AFF site as a whole.

This is bullying, being a troll, and being homophobic.  People should be free to be themselves on here and support whatever pairing they like, but not only is this comment rude, but their stories are obviously parodies of others stories on here which sometimes if not always have violent endings not in a creative story telling way but clearly to demean the people that enjoy the pairings.

I don't understand why she/he keeps reading the pairing if she don't like it? This is an ongoing problem from other sites to, with the same person or group of people. The name changes but the review doesn't.

I know who this person is. That is not their name; they're well, I don't want to say identity-stealing, but that's pretty much what they're doing. Appropriating the name of another person in order to troll.

That said I'll happily leave the review up as it's a testament to how pathetic this vindictive person has become, not to mention stalkery. LOL. However they probably should be banned from the site because they'll not be giving useful reviews to anyone and in fact they are a habitual and incorrigible troll in general (and if i could get their IP by PM, too, that they no doubt left behind when they posted, that would be great, pssst, admin? This person's being a problem elsewhere too).

Their comment is rather irrelevant too, I don't really care that they said that given I don't think TFs have to have things exactly like humans down in the nether reaches. Or whatever. Yawn. The person is such a tryhard.

I've come under harassment recently over several sites. Pretty much anywhere that can have a review posted anonymously has had these comments crop up. I'm 98% sure that they are from the same person (possibly two), and while I've shut off all anonymous abilities on other sites, I'm unable to here because I cannot access my account (and haven't been able to for months), but I still receive the email that lets me know I've received a comment as well as the body of it.

I'm wondering if I can have anonymous reviews shut off. I don't care if they're deleted or not - it's honestly not the content of them that annoys me, it's getting the e-mails from a site I don't post on that annoys me more, and the reviews are so obviously meant to be antagonistic that they've instead come off as childish tantrums, and the best way to deal with tantrums is to ignore them.

So, the account of AshadelMG in the archive, if I could have anon reviews shut off (since I can't do it myself), that would be delightful. Alternately, the account can be deleted as I have the story hosted on several other sites so it's not as if I'm losing it.

It's pretty mild compared to other stuff I have received but it IS irritating, to me this isn't a review, this is just an opinion. Reviews should be constructive, surely? Maybe I'm wrong and this isn't one of the hoards of trolls following me, if it's not considered a troll I apologise. (Maybe i'm getting paranoid, lol)

I did delete the original review on my story...which was stupid of me. I kind of did it automatically...the Copypasta of the Review came from the e-mail sent to me when I got it. I'm an idiot. Lol. So, there may be nothing anyone can do as it's not really offensive or anything but there we go, I didn't know what else to do.

Neither of these are constructive criticism, I am so, so BORED of receiving this kind of hatred. I know there MUST be people out there who read and enjoy my stories, but many will be put off of reading if they read the review section first. There will also be some people who are upset by this kind of horrid abuse, people who would otherwise be very talented authors (I myself used to have serious confidence issues with my writing, in fact it was Fanfiction that returned that confidence.)

The person who said this was ragnrockkyuubi, who does have a registered account on AFF. Considering the commentary they left me, it just proves they really didn't read my story (To Love Again: http://naruto.adultf...hp?no=600104723) since it clearly explains in Chapter 1 the events that lead to Sakura's pardon and the reasons why she was forgiven so easily. Everyone has a right to their opinion and all, but unless someone has something constructive to say that can help me improve as a writer or something nice to say about the story, I really don't see the reason why they should leave their negativity in a review to hurt the person writing the story.

Anyways just reporting this person since I want the admins to be aware of them, since I have a feeling that I won't be the first or last person effected by their negative comments.

The story is "Verial with Bloom" by TristaML and the reviewer's name is ChristianMale1. Please get him off this site. I have never been so angry after reading a review b/c he basically attacked all of us on here. I come on here to be entertained by good stories, maybe to forget how one of my kids behave, to generally escape life for a little bit. What is wrong with that? This asshole kept going on and on and on. You read the review; he needs a good kick in his homophobic ass.
