I normally mind my own business but I happen to like that story from ARavingLooney and wants to make sure people to do not rip him off. 

I stumbled across this story: Secret Desires & Unbridled Fury posted by Kiara Grey on June 8, 2005. I thought it was odd to see Inuyasha in the originals section, so I looked, and found this: Secret Desires & Unbridled Fury, posted by Silver_Dog_Demon on March 24, 2005.

Several things point to plagiarism – the summary alteration, the note of incomplete on the “original” posting when the story has been complete since 2004 (see below), the slight change of the formatting internally, and the fact that the posting in the originals archive only has one chapter.

In trying to make sure that I’m not making a mountain out of a molehill, I checked to see if there were other, older versions of the story. There is a posting on Fanfiction.net: Secret Desires & Unbridled Fury, posted by Crystal-Tiger82674 on Jan 7, 2005. The posting of 31 chapters was completed on Jan 23, 2005. There is an even older posting on Dokuga: Secret Desires & Unbridled Fury, completed on Nov 7, 2004. It is posted under the name Silver_Dog_Demon. The Fanfiction.net account is claimed on the Dokuga profile. I did not see a claim to the Kiara Grey account on either the Fanfiction.net or the Dokuga profiles. Someone (possibly the author?) set up a Facebook page under the Fanfiction.net pen name, and I didn’t find any acknowledgement of the Kiara Grey account there either.

My guess is that “Kiara Grey” is a plagiarist.

Sections of this one: http://original.adult-fanfiction.org/story.php?no=600109335 pull up links on various sites, one of which says it’s from Literotica. Since he’s altering the titles slightly, I didn’t find a match. Maybe you will have better luck.

I’m sure many – if not all – of his other 33 stories are lifted from various sites as well.

I imagine you can look at the posted date on Literotica and the one here and see that Lit came first. It’s especially alarming to me simply because I was thinking of posting some things here that may not fit there. Please let me know if you need any more information or proof.

The issue is a story from seven/eight years ago. There is a very small portion of this piece that is lifted from Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. The posting user, goldhorse (http://members.adult-fanfiction.org/profile.php?no=1296881395&view=story&zone=hp&page=4), recognizes that this section isn’t theirs and notes it in an AN at the bottom of the offending chapter.

However, they do not cite the original source.

Depending on what website you’re on, this small amount, when compared to the entire work (58 chapters) wouldn’t be grounds to remove the entire story. However, AFF’s policies are much stricter than most cites with respect to plagiarism. There is a clear statement in the TOS

With the allowance of citation, and since there’s a half-assed note of “not mine”, I didn’t want to make an accusation of plagiarism if it would not be seen that way by the administration.

It's not exactly 100% copypasta'd and seems to almost have a second story haphazardly copypasta'd in but it's definitely stolen from Literotica.

This author has stolen my plot, which was based off a Deviant artist named YoukaiYume, changed a few things around, and has posted it here to try and pass it off as her own. I have already warned her than if she does not take her story down that I will report her to the admins, something I did not want to do since it would ban her from the creative world of AdultFanFiction. But it must be done.

In the summary the "author" actually admits the original came from here: http://cartoon.adult-fanfiction.org/story.php?no=600040943and that they were making minor adjustments because they didn't like some of the content featured in the original work... The only adjustment I can tell is the very first paragraph, otherwise the rest of the chapter is word by word of the beginning portion of the original author's work.

It was posted back in 2007 and hasn't been touched since, but I thought it should be brought to your attention anyway!

I have a suggestion as to how to get a grip on the plagiarism problem. The trouble with the adultfanfiction site is that anyone can just highlight, copy and paste any text material on this site. Many story archive sites, and recently ffnet, have made it technologically impossible to do that any longer.

That may not scare off all copyright violators, but definitely the lazy ones, when they won't be able to just copy and take whatever they want with a couple of mouse clicks.

What do you think? Would it be possible to utilize that system here?

The guilty party confessed to the deed but claimed she had no intention of turning it into a book and selling it online, despite the fact that it bears hers and her friend's pen names and states that it was re-written. Seriously, that's the best she could come up with?!

Bunji has had his story up since June of 2011, completed that same year, so when I saw it, I asked him, and he told me it wasn't him, and that he definitely did NOT give anyone permission to post that story

I know it's still plagiarism but I need certain parts in my story. At the end of each chapter I wrote my theories and explanations about certain sections of the HP books. (I took my author's note out of my chapters in AFF because someone pm me and said I can't post those up and go to the forums if I really want to talk about my theories. My theories are still in FF account, though.)

I want to show all the possibilities of what could have happened if Hermione/Lyra was a pure blood, super genius. Almost everything that has happened in the book, she made it happened one way or another and she's pretending to be dense in certain areas.

I copied most of the original dialog and events from the book but took out Harry's p-o-v and replace them with Hermione's. Hermione's p-o-v is completely different from Harry's, since she was raise by pure-bloods, she's racist towards Muggleborns and blood traitors. Her p-o-v is sort of mean, because she often insults the other character's in her thoughts and pretends to be this bookworm on the outside.

I want your opinion. Should I not use the original dialong and make it fully Hermione's p-o-v for it to not be considered plagiarism?

This person states that the story is not theirs but the original Mitiki who they say passed away and that they are now going to take over and continue her work. I'm not sure if this is allowed or not, so I thought I would bring it to attention and hopefully find out. Thanks.

The idea is that Harry is born a girl, her name is Heather and instead of Hagrid coming to get Harry, its Snape.

The disclaimor says that some of the chapter was copied directly from the book. But I have the book in my lap. And it is nearly all of it. All they are doing is changing names and only a few other things. I don't know if this counts as plagerist, but if I were J.K Rowling, I would be furious about this as it seems more copying then a fan fic.

There for, I leave it up to you to decide and thought I should just bring it to attention.
