New writer here. Never thought I’d be writing a racy story, but here I am. It was an idea that stuck in my head one day and I had to write it down, strange as that may seem. Fair bit of warning: I am not intimately familiar with the Forgotten Realms setting and characters, so please excuse any flubs. I wanted to see if I could write something focusing on only a few characters, which is something of a challenge for me. Please enjoy! I had a lot of trouble with this one because I’ve never written a sex scene before and it probably shows. I’m still not satisfied with the quality, but I think it’s the best I can do. There was a lot of extraneous detail to cut out and general agony like that. There’s one more chapter which will function as an epilogue. Ha, that is what happened to me, too – getting struck by the idea and then thinking, “I guess I’ll write some pornography!” Whoops. Have you written stories with large ensembles? It’s been a learning experience, and I have a better idea of my strengths and weaknesses. I may write something else, or I might now. To anyone reading this, thanks for sticking with it.
