Fem!Harry comes back from summer after 3^rd year noticeably quieter and much more paranoid around groups of people, flinching at even slightest contact, unfortunately her friends do not notice any of this, too caught up in the hysteria over the upcoming triwizard tournament, 2 people do however one Severus snape and albus dumbledore to be precise

Dumbledore recognizing that Fem!Harry is displaying a lot of signs similar to what his own sister displayed sends snape to find out what happened over the summer holidays at the dursleys, snape discovers that over the previous holiday vernon had beaten and raped her repeatedly along with alllowing other adults to do the same and even encouraged his son dudley to humiliate her with his friends by forcibly removing all her clothing and leaving her naked for their viewing pleasure and to constantly beat and humiliate her should she ever step a toe out of line

snape livid at what he finds, reports everything to dumbledore who refuses to allow her to return there ever again and finds himself once again questioning if his old friend and lover gellert had the right idea...are these people even worth saving from men like voldemort?

shortly after canon events go forward with Fem!Harry name coming out of the goblet, only this time due to her skittish behaviour since returning not even hermione believes her leaving her alone and friendless, this amps up the bullying done to her by the other students who make her life at hogwarts a living hell,

dumbledore beyond livid at how they all turned on her is unable to help due to his role as headmaster of a competing school (would count as meddling and the goblet may respond badly) and so is forced to watch as the girl he has come to think of as a surrogate granddaughter is beaten down and essentially tortured by her own former friends and classmates (destroying her belongings/clothes, humiliating her, causing actual harm, shrinking/vanishing her clothes in public, maliciously pranking her etc)

Snape too is livid by everything going on and like dumbledore is limited in the ways he can interact with her due to his cover as a spy and his status as a teacher for a competing school, both are left shocked however when she is evicted from gryffindor by the majority of the house essentially leaving her homeless whilst at hogwarts and are left reeling when they discover that she has had to be admitted to the hospital wing over 20 times for injuries sustained to her person since her name came out of the goblet and it hasn't even been the first task yet

by now the other teachers of hogwarts have realized something is very wrong and that their own parts in snubbing Fem!Harry have only encouraged the behavior of the other students leaving them feeling awkward and guilty around her which does not make it any better, this continues until the first task where due to no-one believing her or wanting her to succeed (hagrid’s message is never passed on by ron or hermione) Fem!Harry has no idea about the dragons 

she waits until her turn to be called before using the sonorus charm and informing everyone in attendance that she discovered a nifty little spell called a magical oath, before making said oath explaining that she never wanted to be entered, did not ask anyone else to so for her and has no idea how or why she was entered and that she hates everyone single one of them and will never forgive them for what they have done to her before simply walking to her death only to be saved at the last second by fawkes without anyone noticing (fawkes used the dragon flames to hid his own fiery entrance, grabbed her and fire teleported out again leaving her singed but alive)

Dumbles mourns as is appropriate in public whilst tending to a still unconscious Fem!Harry in private, only to be beyond pissed when most of the school are not even all that concerned that a classmate has just supposedly died in front of them, only a select few look like they regret any of their actions whilst the rest still refuse to believe her despite the oath given and think she got what she deserved, this proves to be the final straw for dumbles who decides that once Fem!Harry awakens, he is going to take her far from this corrupt cesspool and somewhere she can be happy, even if he has to side with tom to ensure the stupid idiots never threaten her happiness again

tom (voldemort) on the other hand is suddenly wondering why the consciousness of his 14 year old female nemesis is currently taking up residence within his mind along with what that pesky familiar shard laying within said consciousness is and decides to take a look into her memories to find out….
