Looking for an Old Pokemon Story

It's a pretty old story with Brendan and May (although it may have used the Japanese names) where Brendan goes over to May's for either Thanksgiving or Christmas. Like I said the story is fairly old, probably 7 or 8 years old. But I remember really liking it when I first read it.
