"Tails" of Wrath-Amon (Conan the Adventurer Challenge)

Granted, Conan the Adventurer (1992/3) is not the best known Animated Series, which is something of a shame as it was unique for its time - as it was one of the first to follow a set story from beginning to end over its 65-episode run. And the number of fic's on it could very well be counted with just one hand as a result.

This Challenge was designed in part to remedy this, and also the simple fact that in TVTrope Terms, the show did succeed in getting quite a lot of 'Crap Past the Radar'. Examples being: One episode that was over 50% full-frontal nudity; Mesmira's open lust for Conan; and Jezmine being made a Concubine for Set, the Serpent-God in the Bad Future Episode.

The Challenge itself focuses on the Primary Antagonist of the Series, Wrath-Amon, a one-time simple Gila Monster Lizard who was reformed into a humanoid Lizardman by his immediate predecessor to serve as a more capable Right-Hand 'Man' for him. Only to be overthrown and Wrath-Amon take his place, receiving a new upgrade to wardrobe and face (to an extent).

The main theme of the Challenge is for Wrath-Amon to be without the Black Ring of Set for a protracted time (which he is reliant on to maintain human(ish) form, and reverts to his Lizardman state without its Magic) and how he copes without it.

There are a few rules to this, which are:

Compulsory:

• By Protracted Time, a period of time amounting to no less than 30 days
• His natural skill and cunning are all he will have to depend on, at least in the beginning

Optional:

• While he possesses no natural magical ability of his own, he is permitted to attain it from external sources later on, in a manner similar to the Black Ring of Set
• Though the Series itself does provide four Canonical Points where he might lose the Black Ring for a long time, perhaps even permanently, you are free to create one of your own
• Wrath-Amon need not be alone, but take heed that he will not have a dominant hand in such matters, and is likely to only see it as an alliance of convenience

Off-Limits:

• Full reversion to simple lizard, which is an automatic Game Over
• Aid from Set - Set may have had a pleasant disposition to those who served him, to be point of basic conversation at times, but if they fell, he was very quick to leave them behind, it will be the same with Wrath-Amon, as happened in the Finale
• Rape - No, just, no
