A fragment of his soul and basilisk also escaped his notice. He was kind of on top of the whole Sirius Black thing- or was he? He was sideswiped by impostor Moody and the Goblet of Fire. He also allowed himself to be manipulated by Umbridge and forced into resignation. Dumbledore is kind of an idiot when you think about it, at least as a school administrator. Still, it's not just Dumbledore's character that gets thrashed in the process, you're pretty much dumbing down everyone else for the sake of this smut going the way you want it. That doesn't make for a very appealing story, smut or no smut. Because really, this seems more like a bashing fic that's just using the smut to bash the characters to a whole new level. Write porn all you like, but stop mangling the HP setting and characters in the process. Make it actually make sense. Make it long-term. Make it a good story. No, I wasn't in that thread or that portion of the forum at all, since Naruto isn't my thing, given I've never read the manga or watched the anime, so looking into its porn would be utterly pointless. And I certainly didn't bother anyone about their spelling or knowledge of English grammar, given that I'm not a native speaker myself either. Anyway, I see you made something similar here in the HP subsection, and I imagine it's more or less the same stuff for Naruto. Uninspired, really, and sadly what I've grown accustomed to seeing lately. I bet jojo is there too. It's always the same drivel, being twisted around to make it look like it's something new. Ah, well, I get that folks got their tastes they'd like to see catered too, there just seems to be an epidemic of the same crowd almost seemingly spamming the same things over and over, worded in barely different manner, intent on mangling the setting that I've come to enjoy and love for the very short thrill of seeing a character they dislike bashed over and over. Yes. Yes it is. Shush there, I found some amazing smutfics (Mad Snorkacks and Englishmen remains one of my absolute favorites, along with those Harry/Pansy "It's Just Sex" stories) here, I'm just hoping to see more of their like come again sometime soon. And only the Flitwick thing has any kind of subtext in canon. Maybe.As such, I fear that I've done more than many to propogate the sort of terrible PWP stories that shit all over the HP characters, settting, and plots.In HP fanfic terms - I'm a monster. I do things in the setting that make no possible sense. My muse was so disgusted they packed up and went off around the world for eight months, and then came back and forced me to write a second person story. And even I wasn't able to work out how the "big butt, big breast" requirement could possibly work in a story that involves "femHarry" "in the first year" in a "brothel". It's like the OP is the only pedophile in the world who doesn't remember what the other 11 year olds looked like when they were a kid. Maybe the character could be played by one of the ladies linked in thebooblover's always entertaining and sometimes quite scary requests.Still, as long as readers and writers are happy I suppose the "Don't like, Don't read" mantra makes a lot of sense. I always like to suggest it for any stories likely to cause distress, although sadly I still have English majors emailing me in tears over my grammar and complete lack of understanding of the vocative comma, which I thought was a Brooklyn low-fi band. Possibly the best way to protest unliked requests is to make liked requests, or write liked stories, or support liked authors doing the proper-in-character-canon-compliant smut with concrit, or other comments. Positivity is more effective than negativity! Which is why I, as a negative asshole, never achive much of anything and instead just complain about stuff that pisses me off on the internet all the time. Like magusfang. Before we can be increased the age of acceptance at Hogwart. And why you talk of bashing? There is no need, Dumbledore is a human, so he make error (read the book and reflect on the consistency of the scenario) and it's a PWP than i propose, not a complex story. Guest_Guest, You rails against this kind of fic, but it is thousands fic of happy sex, romance... i can understand you like that, myself if the fic is well written i like that (EuphemiaXLelouch or KanekiX Rize than i love), but PWP like that are very rare in comparaison, it's bad wanting porno sometimes? Like say JayDee, don't like, don't read And JayDee, i love Amelia Bones like a rapist, this a character too little use and your fic is very good and if you intersted in the request I would be really happy if you muse isn't too disgusted.
