Hinata Hyuga and Hanataro Yamada have been friends for years, ever since they were both kids. Hinata was 3 years older than him, but they were still really close. He graduated 2 years after she did, and they were still close friends. After the Third Great Ninja War, things went back to normal and the villages were still together. Both Hinata and Hanataro are chunin, and they are both medical ninja. Naruto is married to Sakura, and Hinata is still upset about that. Sasuke is married to Karin, and Kiba, is with Ino. Everyone one of her friends has found love, except her. Hanataro has a crush on her, and has always loved her. The way she felt about Naruto, he felt about her. Hanataro hated Naruto, not because of the mine tails, but because he was the first one who knew about Hinata's feelings for him. He even hated Hinata's dad and Behind, because of the way they treated her. As for Hanabi, he had no I'll will towards her, but he didn't like her that much. Hanataro's parents both died when he was still a kid, and Hinata was there to comfort him. And he wanted to be there for her the same way. He hated seeing her sad or in pain, and hated anyone that caused her to sad or hurt. After the war, Hanataro sees Hinata is upset with Naruto choosing to be with Sakura, and decided to try to cheer her up. And to make things worst, Sakura was pregnant. Neji had died and her sister was no the head of the clan. Hinata could not feel worst, and Hanataro tries to help her get happy. As he comforts her, he reminds her about that time when they were kids and they saw two people kids for the first time, and tried it themselves. The tried to kids eachother, but kept bumping heads. This makes her a little bit happy, and she does laugh a little bit. They talk about other funny things they did together. Alone, they were both shy, quiet and timid but together, they were not troublemakers, but they did have fun. Hinata decided to try kissing again, and this time they are successful. And that one kids, leads to more. Hinata knows that she will never be with Naruto, and she has to move on with her life. She decided to move on with Hanataro. A one shot story with Hanataro x Hinata being the main pairing. Hanataro is 3 years younger than Hinata, and a few inches shorter, too. Other pairings are Naruto x Sakura, Sasuke x Karin and Kiba x Ino.
