Now there are those in Asian as well but to me it seems to fit. What's everyone watched? For me. English: Gilmore Girls, (parts of) Days of Our Lives, and a few others. Asian: You're Beautiful, My Sweet City, My Lovely Sam Soon, Boys Over Flowers (Korean) Hana Yori Dango (Boys Over Flowers Japanese version) and parts of Meteor Garden (Taiwanese version of Boys over Flowers). Pasta, Playful Kiss, Heartstrings, Down With Love, MARS, Meichan no Shitsuji (My Handsome Butler), Hi My Sweetheart, Love Forward, Hana-Kimi, Coffee House, and Oh My Lady. English dramas have too much 'affairs', 'murders' and etc. i guess you would call english drama's the 'heavier' stuff.
