I think that these two Elves are really fascinating characters, although they aren't mentioned so often in he books, and don't appear in the movies at all http://www.ansereg.com/elladan_and_elrohir_factsheet.htm I must confess that I don't know the books so well, so I can't say if all these facts are true. But given the way the author of this site has collected everything, I'm pretty sure that there aren't mistakes. I'm going back to have a closer look at this imformation.
