Dark Serpent Cat Posted September 9, 2012 Report Share Posted September 9, 2012 Hi so awhile ago there was this incident on Fanfiction.net where Reading the Book stories had disappeared or been taking down and reposted elsewhere by the authors. I was wondering if anyone knew where I could find these type of fics. I would also appreciate ones where the pairing was a slash pairings as long as it is good. Karela Posted September 12, 2012 Report Share Posted September 12, 2012 There is a website here: http://readingthehpbooks.proboards.com/index.cgi They have been told to stop posting the stories due to copyright issues, so they are all gone, but I believe that a lot of the authors backed-up their fics and have posted links as to where they will be posting their stories at. DemonGoddess Posted September 12, 2012 Report Share Posted September 12, 2012 Because if you're writing the story to where the content is predominantly content of the book being 'read', as opposed to just snippets which can be cited; you're infringing someone's copyright.
