Would this cover only identical stories or also versions of one story? I'm currently making one story with two versions, one a fanfic, the other an original version (the fanfic minus fandom-specific references). I wonder if this would count as multiple stories. If you are writing the fic as original, my suggestion is that you simply go with it and make it original and not bother with the fandom at all. Granted, reviews are less, but then again, you'll have less of the "this is so OOC" or "I hate AU" comments then, lol. Now say you use the same basic set up. "Character X meets character Y at someplace, somewhere, and they fall in love" well... obviously in fandom the someplace somewhere is specific to fandom. The someplace, somewhere is wherever you want it to be that's not specific to a fandom, in original, right? Really grand suggestion... if the two stories really are different enough (not just InuYasha replacing Harold or something) then don't entitle them the same. *shrug* Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I didn't take it down although I did move it to just one chapter with a pointer to the new section because I wanted to keep the counters and reviews. If the stories are significantly altered, then it is fine. If they are not, then it's a violation of the TOS. Just out of curiosity, you know you can move fics between subcategories yourself, right? It just seems like you went to a whole lot of trouble to move something by reposting when there's a much easier method available to you. I think it's five points per post. These points, well, you can use 'em in the IBStore to buy stuff, or invest into the bank, to collect interest.
