I am really liking where you're going with this, no doubt about that!

What is more, it is clearly seen that you have done some background research concerning fairies...gives it a certain feel to the tale! Those creatures might not kill but they play mercilessly - which makes them even more dangerous in that aspect. Thinking back on all folklore texts I've read, I fear that I might already have an inkling what price Morgana has in mind...a natural result of Hermione's and Voldemort's night together...their child? I might be wrong, however.

Oh my! 'Marcus' as her professor- I am very interested in seeing where that goes! I also like that she wants to have an abortion first. I mean, I like that you wrote something that seems more realistic (in my mind) for Hermione rather than not writing it because some people don't like abortion. I also like the whole dynamic with her parents taking care of the baby and Hermione not bonding with her so much. Again, it seems like something Hermione would do, being so driven (although I have to say there are lots of OOC stories I like as well- I'm not a stickler for people acting exactly the way they did in the books). Keep up the great work!!!

Oh I hope we get a Volemort POV next! I can't wait to see if Althea asks him about Voldemort since she had to of heard them talking about him. I also really want to know what was going through his head when he "met" Harry Potter. That was awesome!

I'm glad that she and Ron seemed to have buried the hatchet. It's definitely weird to think of the Golden Trio being so distant with one another. I mean, they all risked their lives for each other. That's got to mean something, right? I wonder what the deal was with Mrs. Weasley. And it seems like Harry is suspicious of Voldemort being Althea's father. I mean, the timing is pretty coincidental.

I can already now say that your wish will be granted Chapter six will begin with Voldemort's POV. To what he and Althea will talk about, you'll just have to wait and see! I think he was laughing evilly on the inside at the meeting with Harry.

Yes, the Golden Trio have been so very close, but I just felt like it wouldn't be too strange if they drifted apart. Especially Hermione and Ron. I'll never know what she sees in him... but I guess the whole "saving each others lives again and again" has something to do with it. But yes, now they are somewhat friends again. Haha, well, I just felt that since Mrs Weasley have been quite cold to Hermione before, like in the forth book after everything Rita Skeeter said, she would take a bit time to warm up to Hermione after she had disappeared from all of them. I guess Ron have said some mean things about her at home...

She's going to try to stay away from him? Oh good luck with that, honey. The man just decided he wants to have regular interludes...you aren't getting away from him that easily. I don't see how she thinks she could stay away from him when he is her neighbor, either. This should definitely be interesting. And that had to be some hot smexing if they literally set the place on fire! No, he is definitely not going to let her go any time soon.

I'm glad that Hermione is discovering the motherly instincts that were previously evading her. Maybe with her attention focused more on Althea she'll be able to start speaking English and communicating better. I hope so, I feel so sad for Althea. It's got to be lonely to only have a weird shadow snake and undercover Dark Lord to talk to.

Haha, yes, Hermione will need all the luck and skill in the world if she is going to stay away from him, and something tells me she doesn't have that I hope you will find the next chapter... interesting. I know I do. I'm glad you enjoyed the smexing. I had a very fun time writing it. I hadn't planned for it to begin this early (or... well, from my point of view, it was early) in the fic, but then they were just so... horny so they had to get some steam off. And they sure did.

Yes, I think a lot of people are relieved that Hermione has finally found her mother instincts, Hermione included. And I think it's safe to say that Althea's English will pick up more quickly now, even if she will continue to speak Parsel now and again. Yes, I can imagine Althea being quite a lonely child... oh, well, having a undercover Dark Lord isn't all that bad either, though! Thanks for reading and reviewing!

Another great chapter. I am blown away by how hot and spontaneous all the smexy times were. I still stand by the fact old Voldy is gonna kick some serious ass when he finds out someone is messing with his little girl. I think as much as you have made me love this ship (and really, it was a BIIIIG stretch to jump on board and now I'm just loving it), seeing him as a father figure and also his snide comments about Harry are just priceless. I also loved Hermione bringing up what an asset Snape was against the Dark Lord. Mwahahaha! I hope she remembers that conversation when she finds out his true identity. And he said he'd never join the Death Eaters...That's technically true, I guess. He'd never join them, he'd rule them. There is a distinct difference.

I'm glad Hermione is starting to learn a little bit more about how manipulative Tom, excuse me, Marcus can be (even though we've pretty much already known what he is up to. Like a new form of Slughorn my goodness).

I also feel a little bad for her that the girls are disliking her because she has a past with Draco, but at least she made a new friend. Also because all those female students making googly eyes at 'her man'. (Ok so they aren't technically together but she obviously feels highly attracted to him and he seems to only be sexually attracted to her. I wonder how those girls would take it if they knew? Jealousy can be a dangerous emotion).

As for Draco I want to know so bad what he is doing there. If he isn't a student why was he there and is he still a bigoted jerk or does he realize Pureblood doesn't mean you're better? Also Hermione's hatred of him is perfectly understandable, and I doubt they could ever be friends unless he somehow shows regret and apologizes.

Althea, I swear, she just gets cuter and cuter.

Hermione Granger (even in the books) had to of been pretty if not beautiful, if you think about it. The reaction at the ball(Which proves she could look drop-dead gorgeous if she fixed her hair and put on a little make-up), Cormac (who is so self-absorbed and narcissistic would not go to a party with an ugly girl), Krum (Famous, super quidditch star who could of had anyone) and Ronald all had a thing for her.

Tom Riddle was notoriously good looking. So therefore chances are Althea is going to be a beauty. And then her parents are both like, super geniuses and extremely powerful magic-wise. This leads me to believe she will most likely inherit her parents intelligence. Therefore my deduction is any child born from Tom and Hermione would most likely be talented (magic wise), intelligent and beautiful like her parents. (Ok Handsome in Tom's case. Not even I dare call Voldemort beautiful in fear of a quick Avada being sent my way).

And I think you're playing her out exactly as she should be. (I also think you're developing her nicely without turning her into a Mary Sue).

Oh, I hate when I've written a review and it disappears for some reason. I has happened to be several times so these days I make sure I've copied it now and again But yes, I do like them long! So thank you, and I'm sorry I didn't get around to respond to the chapter earlier.

It will be quite some time before the other girls in the class finds out about them... and what happens then, you'll find out then But first, a lot of other things will happen so... among other things, you will find out what Draco's deal is first, so I hope you'll enjoy that little story!

Yes, I've always pictured Hermione as beautiful. But not one of those big boobs, long leg porn-starts-people like I've read in some fics before... and Tom, even as Marcus is very beautiful (or handsome... ) as well so yes, I think Althea will be very pretty. And powerful. And intelligent I also really hope I'll be able to keep her from becoming Mary Sue, I know I have a problem with original female characters so therefore I'm always very careful not to give them too much meaning in a fic. Ugh, I still remember a horrible Swedish fic I wrote when I was in the beginning of my teens which was about Voldemort's daughter and she was so Mary Sue I can't believe I actually thought it was funny to write at one time... but oh, well. Ah! I knew as soon as he said "Duelling" that either Hermione was going to figure him out or I was going to have to boycott this story. No way in hell does Hermione Granger see the man duel and not know it's him, and that's not even considering the fact that her parsel speaking daughter asked her what Voldemort has to do with Marcus. Mwahahaha! I'd be surprised if Draco didn't figure it out as well. Voldemort teaching Transfiguration is one thing. Voldemort with his wand out ready to duel is another thing entirely.

But why oh why wouldn't Hermione grab Althea and bolt?!? You can get new clothes, honey! My ass would have grabbed my daughter and then apparated to Hogsmeade where I would have run into Honeydukes to use the secret passage into Hogwarts! Then I would have asked the RoR to give me a room where I could hide that would not be able to be found by Tom Marvolo Riddle, Lord Voldemort, The Dark Lord or Marcus Foster. Then I would have sent a patronus to Harry, Kingsley and McGonnagal asking them to meet her in the RoR with a pensieve, stat! But hey, that's jut me.

I mean, she HAS to understand that if he got his hands on her he would probably either kill her or obliviate her. There is no way in HELL he'd let her go. Ever. He's the single most possessive person on the planet. As far as he is concerned, she is his. End of. I wonder if he'll try to convince her she's gone completely mental. I can hear it now, "He-who-mus-not-be-named? Really, Hermione? Are you listening to yourself?" Then he will spout off all the reason she did when she tried to deny what her eyes were telling her. Arg! I can't wait!! Please don't leave us hanging on this cliff for too long!!

Thanks for the update...and for Hermione sending Voldemort flying! I got so caught up in the big reveal that I forgot to mention the awesomeness of that part of the chapter!

Then I'm very glad that my plan from the beginning was Hermione finding out while watching Voldemort duel. Unfortunately, Draco was too thick to figure it out. Or he was snogging his girlfriend... or nursing his pride after being struck down. I need Draco to not be aware of who he is, otherwise he won't do the things I want him to do! Mohahaha.

Actually, my beta asked the same thing as for why Hermione didn't just grab Althea and run. And well, Hermione was about to run, but other than the fact that I didn't want her to run (and since it is me who is writing, I do have a say in those things, tee hee), I think that Hermione would have been out of that apartment if she had been given five more minutes. And it has been over four years since she was last at Hogwarts, so I don't think RoR would pop directly into her mind, she was probably thinking about some other place. But she is a rather practical girl and knows that if she leaves, Voldemort will come looking and so she will need a place to hide and thus, she will need some things to be able to suffice for a while, manly for Althea. She is not a rich girl by far, only surviving on a scholarship. However, I do think she would have contacted Harry the moment she was out of the apartment, but Voldemort was just too fast for that And for how Voldemort will react... mehe, that you'll just have to wait and see! However, I think it will be very, very difficult for him to convince Hermione she is wrong. But oh, well, the next chapter should be up tomorrow or the day after that. I hope. If my betas have had time to work on it by then.

--Yeah, she started to get that feeling as well. However, knowledge was power, and as long as she was stuck with him in this tub, she thought she should try to learn as much as possible.

-Yes but knowledge corrupts, so watch how far you're willing to go Hermy. Besides you're one lucky girl, having the Dark Lord all to yourself! He's even the father of your daughter. Plus there is lots of great sex involved. What's not to love!? So maybe you shouldn't watch out and just let yourself get corrupted. . . ;]

Oh, but Hermione is such a nice girl, and have always been on the just side and are friends with Harry Potter so of course she CAN'T become corrupted Oh, the sweet lies you tell yourself when you don't want to see that you are getting corrupted... and in Hermione's case, what is not to love, indeed! Just stay there and keep the Dark Lord entertained, haha.

--When she grew up, she would no doubt be as beautiful as Hermione. The boys would stand in line to … get killed.

Hehe, yes! Another reader expressed her wish to see a one-short spin off on what will happen when Althea brings home a boyfriend for the first time. I'm feeling very inclined to write it... but we shall see. First I need to finish this monster of a fic!

--Voldemort’s expression hardened. Salazar, he did not look forward to Althea growing up. If she became half as stubborn as either him or Hermione, she would be a handful.

-I can see it now. Voldemort may be a bad-ass but I have a feeling somewhere along the line he might just get a teensy bit soft towards his daughter (and even her mother). And yes with two such intelligent/stubborn parents she will most likely be a devious little handful. But let's remember she is also her mother's daughter, so she'll probably be just as loving and brave as she is sneaky and manipulative. . .

Indeed! And I think Althea is getting and will get a lot of influences from her mother. So never forget that! And I do think Althea is able to feel empathy and all those sort of things Voldemort can't. Thus, she shouldn't turn out as bad as him... but we shall see. Haven't written that yet

That about covers it! I really loved this chapter, I think the relationship can finally go somewhere AND we also have a little bit more insight to the creepy shadow things. I have a feeling they're going to either just try to make things hard for Voldemort, use Althea for their own gain or maybe just maybe they're trying to save Voldemort by making him fall in love.

While they seem disturbing and scary and sometimes malicious they also seem like they have a motive, I just haven't worked out what it is yet. (Wouldn't it just be like a mischievous fairy to try and make Hermione/Voldemort fall in love by endangering their daughter/telling Hermione exactly who he is through Althea?)

Haha, I shan't say a thing about what or if the shadow thing is up to something! But I think it's safe to say that this isn't the last time you'll see it. So until you do, I'll zip my lips.

Leave it to me to try and wrap up a review and then just go on blabbing some more. xD

The person I have the most pity for right now is Althea. She's misunderstood, practically a new species, can barely speak English (But knows fluent Parseltongue), had Lord Freakin' Voldemort as a father, is being stalked by a shadow beast, watched by fairies, her mom and dad hate each other, she was a 'drunken mistake' (Although her mom loves her very much), 'magical diarrhea' although for the sake of my sanity I shall refer to it as 'magical vomit' and her dad is practically using her to bribe her mom too. xD<br />

She is going to have one hell of a childhood and probably some emotional issues somewhere along the line. I'm gad she shares her mother's high level of empathy because it would suck to have two psychopathic maniacs team up together. (Hmm. That would actually be a cute story. . . Daddy and Daughter rule the world together. Bwahaha.)<br />

Yeah, Althea really got some tough years ahead of her. But I think she is rather tough... and even if Voldemort would never agree, he does seem to like her more than anyone else... I think their relationship is somewhat like it appears Voldemort and Nagini had when she was alive. But yes, Althea does at least she got a mother to smooch her in love and she does seem to be able to feel those emotions, unlike her father! So sorry, don't think Voldemort and Althea will turn into The Psychopathic Duo (but it really is an interesting idea for a story, meheheh).

As for the idea of a one-shot of Althea bringing home her first boyfriend you should do it. Although instead of her 'bringing him home' I would have him accidentally find out. Like say he and Hermione come across Althea and her boytoy holding hands in Diagon Alley where he finds out they've been dating and Althea/Hermione kept it from him. Ohohoho. Sorry, I'm getting way ahead of myself and quite presumptuous. My excuse is it is 3am in the morning and I'm just sprouting nonsense. xD

Haha, oh, yes, I do think Althea is clever enough to keep all boys she may like far away from her father. But we shall see what sorts of one-shorts the future may have in hand... still working on finishing off this story! And now when I'm finally on summer vacation, I hope I'll be able to do that! Guh these two. I agree that the faeries arent up to any good and Hermione's logic that because they might oppose Voldemort that makes them "good for the world" is really faulty. This chapter is a little disturbing, in a good way of course.

Although I'm beginning to pity Althea and Hermione even more. Voldemort reminds me of our pet snakes we used to have. (We had like. . . 5 pet snakes at the same time).

They're beautiful creatures and they might let you hold them for a while but eventually they're going to bite. It's nature. Voldemort might seem almost. . . Domestic but just like those snakes he's fully prepared to bite if he feels like it.

I wonder if there would be something wrong with this baby, and I'm still itching to know what they are up to with Althea. I appreciated reading about Hermione's thought process in regards to having an abortion. I have my own views, everyone does, but I think there are many women whose view might change if they actually had to make the decision.

I hope Tom's personality has a bit more growth soon because unlike your other stories, the character seems to be changing at a much slower rate if not at all. I wonder if the Fairy's trying to convince Hermione to have an abortion will change his original view.

I've been rereading your other stories, lol. I absolutely heart, The Contract." O yeah, around chapters 30 (ish) you mix up Hermione's age. She's nineteen about to turn twenty in chapter towards the end.

I won't reveal anything about my plans for the next baby or Althea, so you'll just have to wait and see! And about abortion, that is probably how I would feel if I was ever put in that position, I think. But it is a really touchy subject with no right or wrong answers. Just different opinion after which moral compass or religious believes you got.

Yeah, Tom is much slower to change here. I'm trying something new. He has changed a little; he does take into consideration what Hermione thinks about something, but that's of course still only for selfish reasons. But I think you'll see a bit more change in him in the next chapters.

Oh, actually, I think I screwed up Hermione's age in the beginning of the story... I meant to go and check that, but I always forget. Will try to do it when I have updated this chapter. But if I forget, you are welcome to remind me again!

Guh! I havent reviewed as I missed a few chapters, but all caught up now. I'm both happy that Hermione rescued herself and a little disappointed that Vold didnt get a chance to teach Malfoy a lesson. I'm not too surprised that she is pregnant again and I think that the Faeries dont want her to keep it because it will bond her and Voldemort too much and they can thwart whatever little plans they have for Althea if they arent distracted fighting against each other. Something about Voldemort and a newborn is almost cuter and funnier than him and Althea which I love in this story. Thank you for the more frequent updates!

“But I read that Mrs Grindelwald was a half-blood.”"

Here it says:

Well, I think JK once said that Muggle-borns probably had some magical relative somewhere down the line, and this way, that is possible. I mean, of all the people being born in that area the same time Hermione was... why would his magic jump to her? I don't know yet if I'll add some explanation of this in a later chapter, or if I'll leave that part open, but you'll find out more about having a Shared Flame later one. And well, I think that Soul Mates is something else than Shared Flame, but this won't be very important for the story, so I'll see if I go into it.
