Squallfan
This is under my penname and other info on all my posts on the forum, (Warn: (0%) ) What is it? It just showed up all the sudden.
Guest Knorg
The Warn Bar system exists so all the mods and admins can keep tabs on perceived troublemakers. Some places have it set where you can see your own bar and nobody elses, some - like it's apparantly going to be here - so just the mods/admins can see it. You get warn points depending on mod decisions and whatever system of adding them each joint uses, and all the mods get to feel extra special and cackle and such. Google invision warn bar for more general info.
Guest echtrae
I've deleted the non-relevant posts in this thread. Knorg has the jist of it, sort of. The warning system has been activated to help keep track of individuals that are out to cause trouble on the forum. Considering the history of the forum, I would expect it to see very little use. Individual members can see their own warning levels, but they have no ability to adjust them. Only the staff can adjust them.

StoryJunkie
WAAAHHHH! I can't ever be bad!
Iggy_lovechild
Does this mean I'm considered a trouble maker?
Guest DarkAvenger
If it's at anything but 0%, then it would mean you've gotten into trouble. But, yours still says 0%, thus, nope, you're not. XD
Iggy_lovechild
Oh good. Is it a private thing or something? Cos no-one else has the bar under their names. *is still a little confused*
Guest DarkAvenger
Moderators and Admin can see everyone's bar. Any normal member can only see their own bar, not anyone else's.
EveKnight75
Why can't I see my own warning bar?
Guest DarkAvenger
Mods, Admins, and Techs have no warning bars.... mostly because presumably we follow all the rules that we're supposed to enforce... lol
Iggy_lovechild
Gotcha I kinda figured all that already, but paranoia made me curious.

ZombieDuke
So, let me get this stright: Everybody has a warning bar, right? Not just trouble makers but everybody gets one?
Guest echtrae
Everybody gets one (with the exception of staff, because as DA pointed out, we're expected to follow the rules we're enforcing). The troublemakers get something other than 0% on their warning bars along with a nifty note of what they did wrong.
Guest Knorg
we're expected to follow the rules we're enforcing. I hope that works out for you! ahh, the internets.
