Simply and easily, write what turns you on and what you visualize as being 'hot'. That's what I do. Start by visualizing what you want to write about then add the details. The smells, whether it's hot or cold, the time of day, shadows if there are any, where it takes place, describe what's around the scene, talk about where the placement of the hands are, what the mouths are doing, what the naughty bits are doing, how the arousal feels, what they are saying, what each being smells like, are they sweating, what they are saying to each other, where what is going, what mouths are doing, what eyes look like, etc. Think details. Paint the picture in your mind then let your fingers walk across the keyboard and describe them. Beyond that, there is something that does help... providing you don't have to look at the keyboard when you type, shut your eyes and don't look at the screen. Just let your fingers do what they do and follow what your brain is showing you. Don't worry about spelling or grammar mistakes, just let them go. You can always go back and fix them later. Another hint is just block it out basically as to what you want to include then take that rough outline and flesh it out when you write. Use that as a visual aid in doing what you want. Hope that helps you a bit.

Like someone else said, not being accepted for writing what you do is a universal thing. Though I'm straight, I've had this problem as well. I write a bit of all kinds of things from straight to bi to slash to yuri, it doesn't matter to me what it is. If i like the story line i write it and don't really care what most people think of it. Honestly, right now, my fiancee knows what i write and actually reads most of it (he does stay away from some of the more strange and hardcore stuff I do under a different name). For a time, he actually beta-ed for me and is very supportive in what i do. But most in my life used to just roll their eyes and didn't take it seriously, thinking it's just one of those weird things that I like to do. However, that has changed the last couple years after I managed to get something published (funny how that works, isn't it?). Now they are all kinds of supportive though i doubt any of my family has actually read the novel I wrote, they just have it to say they do and point to it when someone asks what I do with my life. The only exception to this might be my daughter (she's going to be 23 this year and has a kid of her own-though the thought of her reading some of the stuff makes me cringe a bit, hey I'm her mom fer cripes sake so that's expected, she's old and mature enough to do so). She is very supportive when it comes to that, even knowing the anime section I work in, asking questions. But, really, I don't care. It's my thing, I'm going to do it if I want. Now, well, it's just more accepted that I'm going to spend hours on the computer or with a notebook writing something. Since then, they no longer say a word when i say I'm writing is all. That's fine with me, gets me bugged a whole lot less when I'm in the 'zone'. I learned long ago not to let what someone else says or thinks about that kind of thing bug me. If it is something you enjoy and it doesn't bother you, fark them! After all, it's my life and something i adore doing, not their concern. For you though, I will point something out... right now slash, M/M romance and other things in this genre is hot and most of it is written by women, read by women. Very little of what is out there and sold is written by men. It's not only written by women but sold to them as well so this isn't that odd.

it would belong in books not original. To do that, you would have to delete the story then reupload it to books at this point since there is no way to move the story from one domain to the other.

OK, here are mine. There are several but all are Sesshomaru/Kagome from Inuyasha.... Demon/Dream Lover Outline • AU • Never been to the feudal era • Old book about demon lore-True History of Japan • Waited for someone with enough power to bring him back This isn't strictly a K/S fic but a threesome with Kouga Last Warrior Outline -Kagome, Sesshomaru and Kouga are all that is left -No one knows where Inuyasha is -Kagome drinks heavily and is about to kill herself. -Neither one wanted to interfere with her life =will wait until they feel she is stable enough but Sesshomaru can’t watch her destroy herself -Sango died in child birth -Miroku drank himself to death -Jaken died in the final battle -Shippo died in a kitsune civil war -Rin died of old age -Kouga and Sesshomaru will care for her and she won’t have to work if she doesn’t want to ‘Kidnapped’ Kagome Outline • They have been together for a year but no one knows • She actually made the first move-kissed him • At first was just her way to deal with her pain but grew-almost like an addiction • Inuyasha sneaks off to Kikyo-she to him • Not about revenge just filling a need • Inuyasha never figured out what was going on-too involved with Kikyo • Sesshomaru has even gone home with her • Just waiting for the jewel to be complete and Naraku to be gone to announce they are together • One night, she’s attacked by Naraku for her shards-hurt • Sesshomaru decides that she’s in too much danger and ‘kidnaps’ her-taking her to the fortress • Inuyasha goes after them but finds out she’s willing • Wants to feel she’s desirable-ego stinging because of Kikyo there is no title for this but working one was called Hidden Lovers Starts out after Sesshomaru loses his arm in his fathers tomb. He wants to understand how Kagome could pull the sword when he and Inuyasha couldn't. So he seeks her out. At first she's wary of him and a bit scared but he assures her that he just wants to talk to her. For him it starts a bit of a fascination with him and he finds her fascinating. This follows the series episodes where they meet up every so often. Next big scene was after Ep 19 in the series (after he and Inuyasha battle for the fang with the borrowed arm from Naraku-it happens after she comes back after Inuyasha pushed her though the well) She meets him after the bit with Naraku is done and she's going home to change clothes and gather her things. She all but throws herself on him, hugging him, crying, because she thought he would be mad at her because she shot at him with her sacred arrows to stop the fight. He knew she missed on purpose and isn't mad at her over it. That's when the friendship starts and he decides he really does like her. They keep meeting up but the next big scene is after ep. 48 in the series (after Kagome sees Kikyo and Inuyasha once again and decides to go home-afer the battle with Jaromaru and Kagaromeru). He catches her before she goes home and listens while she tells him about what happens and comforts her a bit while she cries-that's when they become lovers. At home she decides to go back but not for Inuyasha-she is over him and sees him as nothing more than a friend. She goes back for Sesshomaru and what they are sharing. Goes on to where they meet up periodically and she sneaks off to see him at nights here and there. It's progressed that he decides he wants her as a mate and she wants the same thing they just want to wait a while beause of Naraku. He makes it clear that he will let her travel with Inuyasha until he proves he can't provide enough protection for her. After the bit with the Band of Seven he's pushed close to taking her. But that finally comes after Hakadoshi tried to get her soul. Because Inuyasha was off hunting Kikyo she was left alone and vulnerable. He's had enough and 'kidnaps' her, taking her to the fortress where they become mates. Of course, Inuyasha goes after them and finds out what really went on and that Kagome is willing.

it's the same all over really. These horrific stories garner huge perfect scores and glowing reviews. I don't know what is going on but whatever happened to telling the bloody truth? It's OK to like some badly written stuff, i have a few I've adored that I've actually gone through and corrected, but seriously, it seems the worse the story is the more glowing reviews it gets. It's enough to make you want to reach through the computer and shake some sense into people. I think, because it's happened so much or often, that people are afraid if they give an honest opinion that the author will get huffy then remove the story or quit updating. So, rather than be truthful and give honest concrit, they praise it to the highest level of nirvana to do the ego stroke thing in hopes that the author will be one of the few that will actually finish a story. BLERGH!
