    That’s the thing I do like about my current gig… it’s paperwork and signoffs to do overtime, it’s illegal for me to work for free, therefore bureaucratic resistance against having to put in extra hours.  Gotta love red tape!

    Oh, gods, been there, done that. I pointed out to one of my staff that they in fact made more money than me since they got overtime and I was salaried. It’s across all industries, I think, and it truly sucks.

    heh, worked a full shift the 14th, went back later that same day and covered third shift, ended up working 13 hours, then 13 hours the next day, then a split double for 16 hours on Thursday.  Thankfully, I only worked 11 on Friday.  LOL
