Hmm, maybe I was a bit hasty. The pages are still stretched, and the fics do not get updated in order. As a matter of fact, I hardly see any updates anymore, they are all fic searches. I thought this was a posting site for fics, not a yahoo search group.

I can point out a few things right now, like new posts not making the front page, or having any semblance of order when people post up, meaning readers have to go through 4 to 6 pages everytime they want to check and see if one of the stories they read has been updated. There's a huge formatting error with the warnings that has never been fixed and makes the page stretch out ridiculously. And the ratings do not show up there either. A post asking for requests to new catagories was made by a nod, and it's been ignored... I have pointed these things out before, like maybe a month ago. Honestly, I used to read stories here everyday, and I also donate, but wading through the miriad of fic searches and other ridiculous postings by people (authors posting up little snips to announce their fics have been updated, thus pushing stories back even further) is really getting on my nerves. There's no email function to alert people, and most of the time their email adresses don't show up anyway when they review (says address hidden). I only use the Harry Potter section, so I don't about the other catagories, but these are all issues that weren't a problem when stories came up in order. I believe the only issue serious enough to consider was the fact that some people edited too much to bump their fics on top. I thought the TOS warning for that fixed it all. And it worries me that everyone quit at the same time also. Now I wonder if when or if anything will be fixed or really looked at, because I was lied to before about that, and I want to know if something is going to really be done, or more words... I love this site, and I might sound slighty upset, but I'd like a real answer and see some of these issues fixed. Thanks, Joy

I would love to see a subcatagory put in under Harry Potter for Tom Riddle/Harry: (sub) Catagory name:Tom/Harry Section catagory to be in: Harry Potter Do you have any stories for it?:yes! Voldemort really turns people off, and some of the stories involve the pre or non-snakeman version. It would be nice to know which was which from the get go.

Hi, I’ve been on this site forever, it seems, and I consider it my baby. I love AFF, so happy they host my parade of smut! Anyway, I’ve been reading up on posts here lately because I’ve noticed since the change with posting that the “latest” page always looks so messy now. It’s only showcasing first chapter fiction, fic searches, and challenges, and is always stretched out whenever someone feels the need to use every single warning clickable. I was very comfortable with checking for people’s updates by checking the latest page every few hours for my favourite story updates, but it places them all over, like on page four, etcetera. I know a lot of other readers/writers find this frustrating now, too. I was just wondering if anything was planned in the near future to repair that, or should I try and find other ways to check on updates. It’s difficult when there aren’t any email alerts or member’s favourites to click on. Thanks for your time, I know you have a lot to do, but I hope someone replies to this! Maizeysugah
