  1. Sub-sub-category to be added "Kakashi/Sakura" Location would be: Category: Naruto Sub-category: Het (please add): Kakashi/Sakura Links to 10+ stories (of the about 100-200 stories that can be added to this sub-sub-category) http://naruto.adult-fanfiction.org/story.php?no=600090599 http://naruto.adult-fanfiction.org/story.php?no=600094708 http://naruto.adult-fanfiction.org/story.php?no=600005533 http://naruto.adult-fanfiction.org/story.php?no=600097765 http://naruto.adult-fanfiction.org/story.php?no=600090005 http://naruto.adult-fanfiction.org/story.php?no=600005302 http://naruto.adult-fanfiction.org/story.php?no=600090284 http://naruto.adult-fanfiction.org/story.php?no=600005535 http://naruto.adult-fanfiction.org/story.php?no=600095032 http://naruto.adult-fanfiction.org/story.php?no=600097339 http://naruto.adult-fanfiction.org/story.php?no=600090330 http://naruto.adult-fanfiction.org/story.php?no=544189247 http://naruto.adult-fanfiction.org/story.php?no=544188117 http://naruto.adult-fanfiction.org/story.php?no=544183789 --added, and linked to stories moved into it.
  2. Yes, and that is why in my original post I posted "Kakashi/Sakura" in the "Subcategory" part of my post. It is right there, you must have missed it. I wanted to have all info in the post correct so that I wouldn't be excluded for being submitted in the wrong format. "Het" is the category that "Kakashi/Sakura" would go in. There are 10 stories for it. --as I said, you need to show me the links. Not being added. DG
  3. This is a request for a sub-category. Catagory name: Het Sub-category name: Kakashi/Sakura Section catagory to be in: Naruto Do you have any stories for it?: Yes There are more than enough stories for the sub-category. links not provided, not being added
  4. Requesting a sub-category pairing to be added for Naruto Catagory name: Naruto Sub-category: Naruto/Gaara Section catagory to be in: Yaoi: Male/Male Do you have any stories for it? Yes, I have the 10 required in my archive, and there are many others on the site by authors like Toffee, Tasukigirl, etc. (Fans of the Gaara and Naruto pairing are having a fanday on July 28th, so it would be really great if we had a category to post to) added as Gaara/Naruto
  5. I have never seen people so calm and non-confrontational on a forum in my life. I think that says a lot about the community, and as someone who lurks a lot here, I appreciate all of you. I thank our community for not going into crisis mode, I think that the calm has helped a lot with the people that are aware that something is going on. I know it makes me a lot less worried. *Calmly waits for the answers from both sides*
  6. I'm right there with you, Demosthenes. Teach Me by Monkey Lady and then I also like Tangled up in Lace by Toffee Dirty Deeds by Serenanna (good het in the Naruto section, unheard of ) (Does anyone have any good Bleach recs? I desperately want to read a good fic, but I tried a couple and almost died. It doesn't matter if it is het or yaoi.)
  7. I am disturbed... Has anyone else noticed that the readers enjoy a bit of mystery with a dash of ambiguity thrown into a good summary? I have changed a summary from a concise and well-described bit of teaser to an ambiguous blob of blathering and saw my hits and reviews nearly double on that particular story. I was rather frustrated by it to say the least. Also, I happen to love when I read a summary with misspelled words, forgotten words, or grammar that makes me cringe (because they couldn't even get it right for one freaking sentence). Summaries like that make me want to click right into that little gem of a story.
  8. You do know all those lovely reviews by people who left their email addresses will also be gone, right? Because you have to actually sign in and have an account...you have quite a few reviewers who will be affected, it isn't just the purely anon reviews, but also those who do leave their names and email addresses. 17/267 and 7/141...that is how many people are logged in users who have review my top two most highly rated stories. 17 out of 267 reviews...I like reviews, they are like my crack (everyone needs an addiction, reviews are mine). I need to find a new replacement crack now...
  9. I have already received several emails from loyal readers who do not have accounts to let me know that they are very frustrated by this, but they apologized and said they wouldn't be signing up. I haven't been this pissed off in a long, long time (which tells me I must have a pretty good life to be utterly pissed off at a stupid thing like this). Anyway, thanks for letting us know there is a recode in the works...that is helpful knowledge. I'll try to calm myself down and let my readers know there is still hope.
  10. I figured there must have been trolling in some of the other sections, I didn't think it would have been based on one or two incidents...(still irked, cooled off and far more understandable, but irked nonetheless). I suppose I'm more angry at the jerks that trolled. Why do stupid idiots have to ruin it for everyone? grrrrrrr. I will miss the invaluable reviews from non-members, and I'm still very saddened.
  11. This frustrates me. I don't like to be one who complains, but I really liked the fact that anon's could comment on my stories. How difficult is it for someone to hit the delete button on that rogue comment meant only as a flame? I have noticed that rarely does a story get flamed unless it has a lot of issues with grammar, spelling, or is just a horrid story to begin with (which does not make receiving those kinds of criticisms right by any means). I might be one of the few people who really hates this, but this decision irks me to bits.
  12. Seeing as I started writing fanfiction to improve my skills as an author (because I really didn't have any skill to speak of when I started ) I look over my older stuff and CRINGE. I am constantly rewriting, but I also realized that it does take away from newer stuff I want to write...so it's a fine line to balance. New fic...old fic...new fic...old fic...trying to flush my laptop down the toilet since I'm suffering from a bad case of writers block and writers frustration... So I've decided there must be a purpose to a rewrite, I must like the story enough to plod through it once again, and I must have a plan for what I can change before I charge in, red-ink in hand. Does anyone notice their rewrites taking longer to write than the original? I'm always mulling for hours on chapters I'm redoing, I don't think it's healthy (I also border on the side of revision over rewrites, though I have totally redone fics before). Another question: Do you find yourself wanting to rewrite the beginning of ongoing fics you have? I have one which is currently twenty chapters long, and though the later chapters are pretty decent, the first ones were horrid (rewrote two and revised one). Is it normal to see such a progression in your writing (LD has only been authoring fanfiction for a short while, doesn't really know if she's doing it right )
