Thanks guys! I’m looking forward to my writing block to lift so that I can continue writing. Or rewrite: who knows

Thundercloud got a reaction from BronxWench in Okay Writer question, from what I can tell. A personal website is a thing?
There are lot of ways to run such a site, so my point is not it must be run like a social media management operation but more that you need to think hard about update frequency you will manage in the long run and design the contents of the page based on that.

A static site that promote self published books might be better if you don’t think you can keep a steady flow of updates over time. One way to have steady stream of updates is of course to publish new books or chapters...but that takes effort too.

I also think it is a good idea to look at sites for authors you like can give you an idea of what you are aiming for.

A website with a steady stream of new posts can be good for promotion, but it is also damn hard to keep such going if you don’t get interactions from the visitors.

Great with an update...I was not about to send a “are you dead” message, but was seriously considering sending a question your way since I was worried.
As for all your planned projects...might be good to focus on the story that provide the least writing difficulties. Your list of stories in work sounds like a massive commitment if you shall do it on fixed schedule.

Thank ‘ee! I was going to get around to it at some point, just been a ways busy, thank ‘ee twice, in fact!
I have to admit, the one bit where they take the line “ Saxon had grown a little bored of being in the kitchen, although like most dogs he was capable of lying alone for hours, dreaming of chasing rabbits today was just not that day.” and added the bold text, well, maybe readers really really needed to know that the dog wasn’t dreaming of rabbits right on that day. I like to imagine this creative soul, hard at work, maybe chewing a strand of hair and them BAM! inspiration strikes and those six words flowed onto the page.

Thundercloud got a reaction from kagome26isawsome in why does me turning 36 scare me so?!
Decide on your preferred age and each time you have a birthday you turn into your favorite age again. There is risk that eventually your chronological age eventually will intrude on reality by giving you physical traits that does not agree...but then it is just to remind yourself that mental age is what counts. A friend has the explicit goal to turn 50 without becoming a grown up...seems to work wonders for her state of mind.

Myself I have decided to stay at the age of 42-ish for quite some while. The COVID year should not count...
