  1. As fun as the game is, it has its fair share of problems. For one thing, there's a lack of communication when playing a game with other players on voice chat. There are times when 4 players are on chat, including myself, and I'm the only one talking. I don't know if it's me, the players or the game itself, but it's been bothering me since I first started playing around Christmas. Another problem I have with the game is that it doesn't have a report system; it's on the PC version, but I play Overwatch on the PS4, which doesn't have it. So people can troll all they want and never get in trouble; that makes me angry.
  2. If you like cartoons, chances are you've thought making your own cartoon at least once. I'd like to hear some of them. My personal idea for a cartoon involves a tapir and a fox having adventures in a serial world where anthropomorphic animals and humans coexist.
  3. Sometimes I get an idea for a story and as I start writing, it becomes much longer and more complex than initially planned.

  4. I can't honestly say I'm a fan of the show. I think the animation is bland, the characters are generic and the voice acting is lazy. I also don't think it's funny nor do I think it's that we'll written. Overall, it's just another "adult" cartoon that just doesn't work for me.
  5. It's a hit or miss sketch comedy; some sketches are generally funny, while others...not so much. Its one of the better "adult" cartoons of the 21st century and I don't mind watching it.
  6. http://cartoon.adult-fanfiction.org/story.php?no=600095305 and it's done. Next story is about two girls who couldn't be more different, yet they're perfect for each other :)

  8. The original cartoon was a decent companion piece to The Rocky and Bullwinkle Show. The movie by DreamWorks Animation is difficult to recommend despite good animation and excellent chemistry between Mr. Peabody and Sherman. This is so for 3 reasons: 1. The third act is very convoluted, 2. The villain (if you can call her that) is pathetic, and 3. The lead female character is such a terrible character, I refuse to address her by the name she's given (I call her Skank instead). The new show on Netflix had everything I didn't want in a continuation of the movie; bad animation, an awful theme song, and the personality of the characters stripped in favor of bad jokes and a stupid premise. Overall, the concept of a dog owning a boy instead of the other way around is unique, but these two characters deserve better.
  9. http://cartoon.adult-fanfiction.org/story.php?no=600095297 it's finally done. Now I can finally move on to my next project, which is a story of a boy (again) helping a friend in need :)

  10. RIP Carrie Fisher :(

Just read it, yeah sucks, and “like” doesn’t apply to the tremor in the force that occurred.

  11. I'll be honest: I don't like rushing. I've always hated having to get a story done every week instead of taking my time to make it something I'm proud of. That's why I gave up on deadlines this year and decided to take my time with my stories.

There are pluses and minuses.  I did weekly for four months, it certainly helped progress my story along, *but* I started to burn out too.  I need to finish a pet side project, then I’ll be able to get back to regular writings (maybe strive for biweekly?).

  12. While I enjoyed Elijah Wood's performance, the animation and score, I was overall underwhelmed by the story and the lame villain. Glad I saw it, but I don't think I'll see it again.
  13. I honestly didn't think I'd be writing here for 2 years straight. I initially was just going to do Lilo's Lesbian Night and that's it. But then I got more ideas for fanfics, and the rest is history. Thanks for all the support guys and happy holidays :D

  14. Unpopular opinion: I hate A Christmas Story; I hate the characters, I hate the story and I hate that infamous line "You'll shoot your eye out." -.-

While a parody wouldn’t be original so it can’t go into the round robin, you could write one in the appropriate archive.

      I'll keep that in mind

  15. I've asked myself this a lot when writing: does the length of a chapter matter?

It both does and doesn’t matter.  In the end, it down to how much you wish to convey in a chapter to make your point.  Onthe pragmatic, a really long chapter takes longer for the reader, and details might clutter; but a really short chapter might not have the depth you’re desiring (and readers constantly having to click for the next one).  For each of my stories, I’ve got numbers in my head, a range, that if I’m too low or too high, I evaluate what I’m trying to do with the chapter, then decide to cut/add material, or merge/split chapters.  More often, its on the high side and I’m splitting chapters.

DP’s response is right on the money. I would add that a chapter should finish at a place that feels like a natural break in the story but that also whets the reader’s appetite for more. So the length of the chapter ought to be determined, in part, by how long it takes to reach such a point.

  16. Hope everyone had a Happy Thanksgiving :)

  17. You know what's been bothering me all year? Matthew Santoro was domestically abused by his ex, Nicole Arbour, and she wasn't arrested for her actions. Fuck Nicole Arbour >:(

  18. I have so many ideas for potential fanfics in my head right now.

  19. Writing is like losing weight; its hard work, but you make noticeable progress as you keep going.

  20. Personally, the first several episodes I enjoyed but as it continued, it became more depressing than entertaining.
  21. Got 2 new kittens last night; a boy and a girl. Skittish but very cute best describes them :)

Littermates?  The interaction between littermates is definitely richer.

  22. If you want, feel free to leave a review to Latte With Cream: http://cartoon.adult-fanfiction.org/story.php?no=600094937 This is meant to be my tribute to former WWOEC artist DTiberius; I look forward to your review of it.
  23. Unpopular opinion: I hate The Golden Compass (both the book and movie). The characters are generic, the action is underwhelming and it's overall a giant "Fuck you!" to religious people >:(

  24. http://cartoon.adult-fanfiction.org/story.php?no=600095210 now that that's done, time we travel to the past where a boy meets a beautiful girl during a small conflict in history :)
