    I have received a new comment, this one from a disappointed reader, but it's not actually about "Waterlogged." This particular Anon writes:

I don't hang around this site much anymore since all the authors I followed have either disappeared with their stories or just dropped off radar and haven't updated in over two years. Good luck with this and any other stories you write.

    Well, Anon, no one is more disappointed than I am about "The Chronicles of Quinn Kane" having fallen by the wayside, believe me! But please do not think it has been abandoned! It's not on indefinite hiatus. To paraphrase Miracle Max, it's only "mostly on hiatus."

    And I fully intend to do something about it! I have the outline of the new chapter in my head -- I just need time to write it down. And I have a feeling that particular time is coming soon. Don't quote me, but I feel like the next chapter of TCoQK will be updated sooner rather than later! I have no intention of letting the story log a year without an update (and we're still a few months away from that point)...

    BTW, have you been reading "Waterlogged" at all?

    It looks like I've stumbled upon a duplicated story in Movies > S through Z > Smokin' Aces: "HateFuck" by Lucee Fur was first published on Nov. 3, 2009. The second version was published on June 13, 2011.

    I've read both stories, and they are the same.

    pippychick 2016-02-15 id # 3000230605 I don't usually read minor2 tag fics (not going to dwell on those aspects), but since I had to add the tag myself lately, I thought I'd trust you, especially since you're venturing into horror.

    I'm glad I did. This was entertaining and mysterious. Well written and disturbingly easy to visualise.

    I am kind of disappointed she didn't get one of those little suckery things at her clitoris. Women, we can withstand a lot of pleasure, even if we're not up to even raising our head afterwards. Seems like the kind of monster that would create multiple orgasms.

    Oh, the cervix. I could tell you what that feels like (given an adequate word count), but then I'd have to kill you ;)

    Also, just for the horror, I kind of wanted to see her wonder if it hadn't necessarily impregnated her... but rather, laid eggs inside her. That would keep a person awake at night!

    And lastly, is it bad that I kept wondering about her Dad, and his instructions not to enter the cellar? Keeping the fuck-monster all for himself, is he? Lol

    But, yes, sorry! I've rambled on and on, but I did enjoy this. Well done!

    First of all, Pippychick, I'm glad you decided to give the story a chance! I love people pushing their boundaries!

    Second, allow me to apologize for not inflicting the maximum amount of pleasure on my heroine. Next time I write a tentacle monster, he will pay particular attention to clitoris torture!

    As for eggs -- yes, that's a truly terrifying thought, and one that cannot be ruled out here. Feel free to imagine out heroine waking from a fitful sleep to notice that the texture of her abdomen has changed... and the horror that is revealed when she investigates...

    Dad keeping the horny tentacle monster for himself? I honestly didn't think of that. In my mind, he wanted to protect his two young daughters from the "tender mercies" of the tentacle monster.

    Okay so I have to admit I read this out of curiosity because I have to write a scene where one of my characters witnesses an act similar to the one in the first chapter.
    1. It's sorta gross and I don't get it. (This has no bearing on anything just wanted to say it because this is the second story of yours that squicked me out but I still went on to read the next chapter like an idiot.)
    2. In the second chapter a couple of things threw me but the biggest one was: Why would anyone (especially someone so young) begged to be fucked in the cervix? Ask most women and they'll tell you it can actually be quite painful, so begging for it seems a bit unrealistic (I know it's porn but just had to say it.)
    Anyway, that's my two cents and I'll probably read the next chapter for reasons I myself cannot explain. Keep up the soggy work!

    Let's see if I can adequately address these points..

    1. Not to sound like a cop-out, but "Different strokes for Different Folks." Some people enjoy the idea, while some people don't -- and both opinion are merely that: opinions. Neither is right or wrong. It sounds like an exciting situation to me, so I write about it. Just as an example, I hate smoking, and cannot imagine finding smoking sexy, but plenty of people do. Oh, well. I am glad you are able to work past your discomfort and continue reading!

    Perhaps your character might try to understand why someone else might be turned on by such a different kink -- and maybe even begin to question his/her own kinks as a result?

    2. Bravo for noticing what I was at least trying to do with Piper's cervix line -- but I guess I didn't carry it off entirely. Piper was just saying stuff she thought her uncle might want to hear -- maybe stuff she heard in a porno but didn't understand. Yes, getting bumped in the cervix is painful (at least, that's what I've heard from women; I have no idea) so this was a case of Piper literally not knowing what she was talking about. I was trying to imply that she is sexually somewhat inexperienced but trying to sound like a sex kitten.

    3. I hope you do read the next chapter -- because you're just cool like that!

    Believe me, Jim was tempted... And you'll have to believe me because I neglected to put any mention of that in the story itself!

    Regardless of whether the temptation was mentioned, it was never going to happen right there, under those circumstances. But this is an ongoing story, and the idea will DEFINITELY be addressed in a definitive way in future chapters. I hope you will stick with it.

    I'm going for broke here! Not a mere category request, but rather a Section request...

    I think AFF would benefit from having a totally new section: Comic Strips.

    This would be for newspaper comic strips, which are very different from comic books and cartoons. We’re talking “Little Orphan Annie,” “Dick Tracy,” “Prince Valiant,” "Boondocks," "Bloom County"... the list goes on and on...

    I currently have one story written – it’s a drabble about Little Orphan Annie, which I penned before I realized that no section for comic strips exists.

    I understand that the threshold for category creation is the existence of five stories, but perhaps if this new section were created first, it would encourage the writing of more stories suitable for it?

    In the event that this request is turned down, where would you suggest a comic strip story be placed?

    It's a new year (2016) and I'm trying to make a new me! To that end, I have written a new original erotic story, called "Waterlogged: Making Waves," which I hope to keep adding to as the year goes on.

    This story is all-new, and has no bestiality elements at all... instead, the focus will be on water sports. And the main character will be 15-year-old Piper -- hence the Minor2 warning (there is a brief reference to her at a younger age, so I included Minor1 out of an abundance of caution). This story is obviously not for everyone, but hope those who are interested will enjoy it.

    JayDee 2015-07-07 id # 3000227996 Using the Ankh symbol in that way is a pretty cool idea, figured it was a flash forward until the puppies, then I wasn't sure...

    I know an American Bulldog and it is very strong, made me wince a little to think about one of those going for it - think you're probably involving her trauma over it all in a more realistic way than most. I guess there'll be a knotting at some point?

    I am not ashamed to say that I blatantly st-- er, borrowed the Ankh symbolism for death from the brilliant Neil Gaiman, whose wonderful personification of Death in the "Sandman" series wears one all the time. It's an homage, Neil, really! (pleasedon'tsuepleasedon'tsue)

    Yeah, the American bulldog can be scary strong. And you know another strong breed -- the mastiff. Holy smokes, those things can pull a fully grown man on the other end of a leash! I wonder what Quinn thinks of that fact? :jaw:

    I also wonder how she's going to get through this latestest flashback-induced trauma. Well, at least we can count on Remy and Amaury to be sensitive to her needs, right? Right? Uh, guys...? :bat:
