  1. Just got a review from oraldeviant on a Naruto story I just posted (and if this doesn't belong here, I can definitely put it somewhere else; I had been searching, but haven't found the right place). Though the review was deleted, it read as follows: Hot story, but a bit of advice, you might want to mention that it's a futa story in the description. I suppose the review was deleted, because oraldeviant realised that I had tagged it both in the summary (as F/D) and in notes in the body of the story itself. I went back and highlighted the words futanari/dickgirl. But if anyone has a better recommendation (maybe putting futanari in the summary, but I'm always trying to save space there?), I'd appreciate it. It's a shame that oraldeviant deleted their comment, though.
  2. I'm considered a fluff writer on other forums, and I used to be put down about it, because fluff isn't seen as a decent expression of storytelling. As a person who escapes into writing, I can't imagine opening a document to work on some gritty, dark angst. I saw this quote the other day, referring to trends in superhero genres: This false connection between gritty realism and literary quality is a common theme in the way we interpret popular fiction, but it’s particularly noticeable in the superhero genre, where “realism” is always going to be a matter of opinion. (source: http://www.dailydot.com/geek/marvel-dc-captain-america-superman-debate/) I thought the way that quote jumped out at me was telling, personally. I instantly felt better about what I worked on and I REALLY started to enjoy my own writing. I can never really decide what I want to read in fiction, as a cis-female. I know I write futanari under this moniker, and I like that. On the other hand, I write a lot of m/m slash and I'm into f/f slash as well. I know I like a good story, but sometimes I'm just too impatient to get to the fapping bits.
  3. So I can answer reviews, if it ever comes to that! I'm also very bad at continuing things, so if you ask me to keep working on some chaptered thing, I will say "OK!" and probably retreat into a deep mental hole of panic, shame and worry. ETA: I'll also answer other stuff here, until I'm told otherwise.
