That moment when you go searching for explicit yaoi manga to read because you’ve developed a sudden addiction, and end up on a threatening webpage, then have to allow AVG to remotely access your machine that’s full of dark slash stories, and are hoping they won’t notice. Frightening. I have learned my lesson. Mostly. At least my internet history was all google searches about “what to do when AVG stops working”

I’m using 360, and I really do like it. I tripped a stupid clickbait the other day, one of those security window things, and between malwarebytes and 360, I cleared it.
-
-_-; I’m so glad to be on Ubuntu… I do not miss those virus filled days lurking the dark parts of the internet (well, not that dark) on a scrapped together computer running windows.
-
Hey, I love my dark parts of the Internet!

Currently writing extremely drunk-pretending-to-be-an-adolescent!Thranduil… and naughty!Elrond... *smirks* I might end up being the only person who likes this. *writes it anyway*
-
I seem to have been temporarily taken hostage by Ai no Kusabi… wow...

So today is/was my brother’s birthday, and I’m sitting here staring into space when I should be getting ready to escape the house for Scarborough. You can draw as many lines as you want, but this stuff always leaks out from all of them, no matter how diminished you become. *sighs* I still miss you.
…
Ok. This has helped… I think. *goes to look at the washing machine*

Thank you, DG… I’m sorry that you go through this too. *hugs* It’s been fifteen years this year for us. It’s the gaps they leave, and not just of themselves. Relationships are shared things… when they go, they take a part of you with them.
-
They really do.
-
Keeping you in my thoughts. *hugs*

I have been busily writing the beginning of a new story, a sequel to ‘Fallen’ set after the events of The Lord of the Rings. If I do my job right, it will feature an eventual role reversal. I can hardly wait for that! My Sauron muse assures me it won’t be fun at all. I think he’s dead wrong there…
-
I seem to be writing some Celeborn/Thranduil. Interesting pairing. Teacher-universe fic. In which Thranduil is quite wild and hot-tempered when faced with Celeborn’s endless patience and merry teasing.
-
Even though the ice cream thing is cute, I really miss some bits of the old forum.

The new forums have me totally bamboozled. I may have given up on learning how to do everything already.
-
I use the activity stream all the time. handy way to find all the unread stuff for me

Me using twitter: "RT me! RT me!" *some hours later* "Stop RTing me! Stop!" *gulps* I've got to stop doing this.

I am sad today. I wish that Omran Daqneesh's image would change things, but know it won't. We are all dehumanised by the way this will disappear next week, next month... What are we?
-
We really are... we're introducing clockwork vibrators into ME fic.. all natural materials, no batteries required. Are we insane?
-
I am currently writing Legolas/Galion & Thranduil/Galion. He's an enigma.

There may actually be a new Teacher chapter coming soon. Or at least, sometime this week. *tinkers*

It was great, the guys were fabulous. i was about ten rows back - it was wonderful! That guy who plays Thorne of the Night's Watch in GoT was in it too.
-
Ahh pinter (pause) a very (pause) distinct style (pause, swearing, pause).
-
lol... I hope you know I am completely in awe of your education, JayDee.

We can send her to Aberdeen to play golf with our blithering idiot, and hope they're mistaken for grouse.
-
Foreign Secretary? Well that seems safe. I mean, what could possible go wrong?
-
Well, when he went to Iraq in 2015, [they] “had to block Mr. Johnson's attempt to visit the frontline of the war against ISIS, diverting him instead to a training camp, and stop him prematurely announcing a trade deal.” On the African Commonwealth, he said: “The Queen has come to love the Commonwealth, partly because it supplies her with regular cheering crowds of flag-waving picaninnies.” Other quotes are unrepeatable in polite society.

Ok... so we have Brexit, a potential second Scottish indy ref on the cards. Maybe Northen Ireland too. All those responsible for Brexit vote have resigned or run away. So we have a new PM in Teresa “you have no human rights” May, a Chilcot report that criticises Blair, but not enough so he can be prosecuted, a list of around 172 opposition MPs who are busy “removing” the first socialist leader of the socialist party for decades. By secret ballot. Against the democratic...

I am back from my holidays! Some lucky few of you will receive rock. Scarborough was mainly built by the Victorians. It's like a massive open air museum of amazing architecture. While I was away staring happily at Scarborough and trying to take pictures of rainbows over the sea, the UK fell apart. Oops. I am mainly going to think about elves from now on.
-
Why are holiday so stressful before you go on them. I have a list of things to that seems a thousand miles long. The chances of having time to colour my hair and paint my nails are vanishingly slim. I need to sleep. *sighs*
-
::hugs:: It's going to be wonderful, I'm sure! Once you actually get away, it gets better!
-
*hugs back* I know - I'm so excited now I've finished work. Ha... next year, I'm seriously thinking of visiting TAFKAB. If I do, I'm planning to take the opportunity to meet up with you for a cup of tea and a chat.
-
Oh, you absolutely will have to let me know if you come, and we will have a lovely visit!

Mmm... new Teacher chapter coming soon. Just going over the edits. I love writing elf slash...

He's stupid (and sleeping now). He's been off down the bottom of the garden, chasing foxes, dancing in nettles! *sighs* That's a job to do. De-nettle the unruly bits. Christ.. :/
-
I can sympathize. I was pulling out poison ivy last weekend.

I don't think we have that here... everywhere is dangerous compared to Britain!
