Sorry to take so long to respond, Kagome. I've had two kids personally. Trust me, all pregnancies are unique. So everything you learn form research can be tailored to the character on some levels.

I wish people understood my very facetious nature sometimes. I take subtle sarcasm to the highest level too often I suppose. Oh well, I must presume that no is not in some people's vocabulary.

Was offered a commision job to write a specific fandom story. Totally not sure about this. I do know the paying party has the same control of content as the contract holder for a ghost writer job. Urk! Do I really wanna get mixed up with a new control freak?

Believe me, I have not accepted their offer. ROFL. I was simply stunned that someone was actually offering to pay me to write a fan fiction story in their place. The ghost writing contract comment was about the reality of being coerced to write a story for someone else because they are too lazy to write out their ideas on their own.

You might want to explain to them that they need to write their own fan fiction, because orange is one of those colors that looks dreadful on most people. Right after they brush up on copyright law. This is an area that is getting intense scrutiny, in the post-50 Shades flurry of notoriety that fan fiction is enjoying.

Understood, and I do know better than most what problems exist with the situation. Mostly, I was in a sarcastic mood from failing miserably at getting things like copyright across to said pigheaded individual. Hence my sarcastic "do I want to get mixed up with this control freak?" line at the end. Sorry if my self directed sarcasm did not come across clearly.

I finshed repairing all the flaws in my ancient DBZ fanfic's Chapter 2. When I compare my old writing with my current style, I am horrified by the infantile mistakes within the old writing.

Call it my desire to always improve my skills to craft better stories. Those who choose to continue writing crap are incomprehensible to me. Making sure I give readers the best of my ability is very important. Only then can I be proud of my writing. People always adored this specific plot, so I wanted to use my new skill levels to bring the real strength of this story out as I could not when I was less skilled. Revisions on the DBZ stories I did years ago are going well.Once my pal gets his new site finished, he'll be placing them back in their new home if I can get them repaired in time.

Yeesh, Prequels are such a pain in the ass to write after the main story is set in stone.Halfway through A Rivarly Revealed and already seeing that Driven Heart is skating hard on screwing up the rest of the series. Putting on the thinking cap!

Looks like I need to read over the series again to insure I stay on track. I do not want inconsistencies to crop up without warning. However, I have the niggling feeling that I have a couple of them happening at the moment.

I try to double back like that once in a while, too. Especially if the leads have been in a grim place and/or I've been away for a while for whatever reason. It reminds me of the lighter parts of their story.

chuckles. Yeah, I hear you. The longer a series gets, the larger the possibility of making big mistakes in the overall tale created. I already know I have several mistakes to correct in the All For Love storyline. Have not had time to get around to it yet.

**Headdesk X 10** Futility is taking on an all new meaning! Perhaps I am in over my head. Wish the proverbial rock and hard place will mercifully smash me to bits so I can be done with this mess!

The metal frame of my 12 year old Futon couch decided to break at the weld points so we had to replace it. Spent the weekend, removing dead couch frame, shifting the furniture to take it out etc. Now we have a new couch, and a new household setting to make the new couch fit.

Slow but steady goes the progress on Chap 17. I'm still having fits and starts because of obsessing on the material I yanked from the original that stymied me. I never could give up gracefully in anything so the stubborn idea persistence is not surprising.

Fed up with being stuck on a scene so I removed the part not working and have got back to writing. I figure I can use the stymied work as flashback materials. Never waste if I can help it.

Well, after venting a lot of pent up ire yeserdday, I am feeling much better. Time to get back to work now that I am not half so furious with a plethora of nonsense, and bad behavior.

Chapters for both in works stories are coming along. Still contemplating how to put the one scene together so that it has the right impact. I think it will be one of my best ones once I get it ready to put up.

Looks like I have to work on Book 5 chapters so I can finish book 4 and the prequel. I hate it when my plot bunnies obbsess on a future event so strongly.

Same here. I patter around with the file open but I'm stuck too. This happens every summer.

Wish I could open my file. All the craziness in my case is friends and family losing their minds. Having the psychology education in my background means I am getting swamped with calls and visits about all the dim things they do. This would not happen if they would take 10 minutes to think about things. Instead they all make bad choices that they wish me to fix.

Arg! The "Real World" is a royal pain in my ass!!! Wish it would go on vacation for about 2 weeks so I could get my writing back on track!

Having a blast writing chapter 17. I am stepping up the pace with the "soulmate" hints and underpinnings of the full series.

Figured out the new program features, so have done an edit on chapters 14 through 16 and got them all posted/replaced. Have begun writing chapter 17 of Driven Heart today also. Such a busy beaver day!

Yep, this new writing program has a few extras with the grammar styles, personal dictionary/word additions, and the quick corrects than the old program I was using so I had to figure out those features.
It was not a big deal, just took a couple days of hands on to get the hang of them.

Finally got Driven Heart chapter 15 posted. The phone/internet got shut off for a while today. Seems the carrier thought our breaker belonged to the E unit next door.
Glad that mess is resolved. -
Whew, Almost finshed with chapters 15 and 16 Driven Heart. Got to get them grammar and spell checked, then posted. Hope to have it all done with and ready to roll out tomorrow.

Just learned that I am going to be an aunt again.
Val's gonna have twins the doc thinks. And here I though I could finally toss out all the baby safety stuff. . .

Chuckles, a great idea if I had an attic. I live in Arizona so most places are stucco. Yeah, I was planning to yard sale or goodwill the stuff since my youngest turned 21 recently. I have had the stuffed animals, baby gates etc in storage for several years. Then again, I am the one most likely to get baby sitting detail so Val can work. She's in the beginning of a nasty looking divorce.

Nasty storm is coming in this afternoon. Says 60 plus MPH winds. Waiting for it to hit but can see the leading edge to the east of here. Will have to batten down the hatches for a while it seems.
