  6. About halfway back to human again. Crossing my fingers that by tomorrow I will be well enough to not fall asleep after 45 minutes so I can get back to my duties.

Trying to get better over here. It is something of a touch and go process when my cardio system whacks completely out. Haven't had an attack this severe in a couple years to be honest. This one took me completely by surprise.

  7. Feeling so much better now that my brain is firing on all cylinders again! Time to get back to work.

Glad to hear you're feeling better. Pace yourself, m'dear, and don't push yourself into a migraine.

Aw, well, this last episode wasn't a simple multi-day migraine. I have a medical problem that without warning loves to announce itself by haunting me for a couple days. LOL. No worries since pushing myself is the reason I have beaten the odds for so long.

  8. My flipping skull feels like it is going to explode this morning. :( I hate these damned migraines!

  9. Got old man Terbush housework squared away yesterday. Good to be back and being productive today. :)

  10. Thanks for teaching me new things last night, Rogue. I really appreciated the help.

  11. Have to get my stolen driver's license replaced today. Took most of yesterday to dig out the birth certificate/Soc Security card, and other documents to prove I exist. Today, I get to stand in long line at D.M.V.

  12. Figured I would share another great blog linkt hat made me smile. The blog is about writing sex scenes. :)http://terribleminds.com/ramble/2013/04/30/25-humpalicious-steps-for-writing-your-first-sex-scene-by-delilah-s-dawson-author-of-wicked-as-she-wants/

Hehe, glad you liked it. I love http://terribleminds.com blogs because they add humor while keeping everything very realistic. # 14 was my fave of the listing because of the truth involved. The fact it is okay if the pair does not have simultaneous orgasm was mentioned was a relief for me as a writer. I actually thought double bust was required writing, but now found that it need not be so plastic world after all. :) #3 was another fave because it has a lot of truth also. IF you don't get...

Oh, gods, that was utterly perfect! I've bookmarked that, and I will read it faithfully, and hug it, and squeeze it, and name it George... :D

I love this specific blog site because of the humor in many of the articles. I have seen several great tongue in cheek blogs at terrible minds site. When I am down, it always makes me grin to read the blogged tidbits offered. I'm glad you liked this one so much.

  13. *Headdesk* x 5. Nothing like depression to totally derail the artisitic/creative mind.

  14. Seems this is a year for a lot of losses. Every time I get past someone I know, and respect deeply dying, someone else joins the growing list. This has been one hell of a year for death sdo far.

  15. I read a very thought provoking article today. Thought I would share the link because iut reminds me of Gary's thoughts about writing. https://medium.com/i-m-h-o/aac6634d79af

Glad you enjoyed it. I sure did when I read it! Made me giggle on several occasions. Plus, it is really true of the industry overall. :)

  16. Wish I did not have so many problems writing sex scenes. Trying to phrase things so it fits the mental image is making me nuts!

Then write the way YOU want to write, not the way others expect you to write. Writers should always please themselves first before they please others.

Write it how it feels right to you. I know folks will be disappointed in the sex scene for my big project, but frankly I couldn't give a damn. It's awkward and clumsy and tender, just like it's supposed to be, and I couldn't be happier with it. :D

    4. Kurahieiritr

      Kurahieiritr

Grins. I have written some clumsy scenes that conveyed the newness and the emotions well. However, in doing so, I unwittingly made the sex really hot, or so I have been told. ROFL. No worries, I will get through this sooner or later. Just have to get satisfied with it, the hardest part of writing in my case.

  17. Yule's coming up so it is time start working on this year's beaded ornaments. Clouds have made it cooler outside so I can get some beading done for a couple hours.

  18. I started revising All For Love, 3rd in the Rivalry series to get it consistent with the rest of the book length tales I have written. Also fleshing out ch. 40 of Smoke in between revisions.

  19. Plot bunnies finally awoke. I finished Driven Heart chapter 17 and posted it. Man, rare as it is for me, writer's block royally sucks!

Congrats! May blocks be brief and chocolate cured!

      Kurahieiritr

Chuckles about the chocolate comment. :) Thanks, Anesor. I am fortunate that blocks are brief, and rare. Is such an unbelievable shock to my system whenever my bunnies go silent. Takes me several days to get over the trauma of awakening with a blank mind.

  20. Have almost completely devoured both books. A couple more chapters to go and the series is resolved. The main character finally pulled his head out of his heart and stood for the important things in life! Made me very happy.

  21. Got the last books in a series I have wanted for a couple years as a birthday present. Now I can finally find out if the main character can pull his head out of his big hearted butt.

  22. Well, I'm certainly stunned this morning. I got a review for one of my original poems which was completely unexpected.

      Anesor

Doesn't that make your day? :)

    2. Kurahieiritr

      Kurahieiritr

Considering it was an original poem, I was taken aback by the review. Guess I never expected it to catch any attention since it is a pretty dark commentary about abusive relationships. :)

  23. Finally, I've figured out how photobucket works. I added small images to my signature for the Initial D fandom. I put my series couple, and small action gifs of their driving into my signature.

  24. Some days a plethora of people seem hell bent upon roaming the planet simply to cause trouble for the rest of us.

  25. Found the funniest, and most realistic "How to get published" blogger ever! www.facebook.com/l.php?u=http://terribleminds.com/ramble/2013/08/13/25-steps-to-being-a-traditionally-published-author-lazy-bastard-edition/&h=pAQGytI7p&s=1
