  1. When did someone else's 15 year old boy chasing after a 20 year old girl (met at my house months ago) become my fault, (unaware of the situation until last night) legally?

Aye, and I wouldn't expect it to be any other way. I'd offer some firewood, but there's nowhere to really store it in the apartment...

Did they find the prick who stole the tools?

    4. Kurahieiritr

      Kurahieiritr

No they never did, JayDee. It is not a surprise that the tools and thief were never found to the rest of us. Considering they were consecrated tools, the man's stupidity in leaving them where they could be stolen means he actually deserved to lose them.

  2. My right hand is beginning to work. My brain is not fuzzing over any longer. I am mending finally. Gods I miss this place!

Funny thing is that the holies and such are not being lazy at all. I simply have the best relationship with the New age Christians, the Jewish group, the Ba'Hai's, and the Buddhists who participate alongside a couple Catholic branches in the Peace 12/12 initiative here. I'm the one priest that the other religious leaders respect and can work with the easiest. I don't have a resentment problem unlike several priests and priestesses from the covens and groves of other groups so...

    3. Kurahieiritr

      Kurahieiritr

yeah, everyone asks me to be the one who coordinated as I have the 25 year plus solid reputation for zero egomania, and even the reservation Medicine people know I won't screw anyone over. My lack of chip on shoulder toward any specific religion (Only people get my chip) and ego, coupled with running a genuine open hermetics/training place is what makes me so ideal to everyone who chooses to participate.

    4. Kurahieiritr

      Kurahieiritr

Guess you could say it is one helluva big deal to have so many religion leaders have so much faith in me as a person, although it is mega exhausting. The fact they all respect me enough to work with me specifically, and I shut down the resentments and back biting moments is proof that Peace 12/12 can work when the right person is placed in the leadership position.

  4. I really hope everyone had a happy, safe, and fun Halloween yesterday. Things were super busy over here as we got ready for our yearly festival and ate way too much home made yumminess.

Awesome that you dressed up for the holiday, Kagome. I went as a viking this year myself. ROFL. Figured I should put my Sir name to good use for once. :) The fake fur was nice and warm. I still have to finish washing the last of the platters from the feast, but that will go fast enough once I stop procrastinating. LMAO.

Thanks for the link Disiderius Price.

Bronx, I am looking at it as a purge year. The craziness has done much to clean out drama queens and negative folks that leach off others. So the Temple will be in far better stead with their ilk gone. Plus the temple can be in a better placement in the new bungalow place since we have a huge yard.

      Kurahieiritr

Thanks guys. Most of my need of a vacation is for real world craziness. This has been a really rotten year for me.

  7. Why is it, that when the world and society gets broken, everyone who even remotely knows me thinks it is my exclusive job to fix everything? Yeesh, I'm not that great at fixing things for crying out loud!

Huge bear hug back, Bronx. LOL on the vacation. Everyone always tells me I am the glue that holds them plus the damned world together so I know they appreciate me. I'm just exhausted after a year of being the most stubborn rock to ever exist on steroids. 10 deaths and the fall out has me exhausted out of my ever loving mind so I am getting whiny.

Very true, George. I just go through short periods of extreme exhaustion trying to make sure that I live up to my rep I suppose. LOL

  8. My friend had knee replacement surgery, and we finally got the Jeep windshield replaced. Making progress is a good feeling. My friend’s finally on the mend and won’t be confined to a walker much longer.  For all the craziness in life, I’m feeling pretty good about the last couple of weeks now that they are done. Now to focus on the next thing on the must do list.

Bronx, I know the honey do list never ends . . . LMAO, Fix one thing and the next thing breaks. But it is nice to finally get a couple super major expensive repairs out of the way do\\for a while. Hehehe. Now I can go back to all the cheap fix stuff I been ignoring. :)

  9. Well, been a while since I was able to get on here. Life is an inn for the imp of perverse meets Murphey’s law. Think I need a vacation from life these days.

I really wish it would. Doug committed Suicide with a sawed off shotgun this week. Helping his wife clean up is going to be gut churning. I’m so tired of this unpleasant suicide habit happening around me. It’s a sign that America’s going to shit hardcore no matter what the Wall street number crunchers keep yapping.

      Kurahieiritr

Thanks, and I know it better than most. Trump’s America is mostly part time jobs and not much else. Most families are a single paycheck away from losing their homes and all sorts of crap. 2019 is a freaking nightmare for most people I know. 15 hour work weeks don’t work for people. Only for pathological lying government morons.

      bryosgirl

Write it how it feels right to you. I know folks will be disappointed in the sex scene for my big project, but frankly I couldn't give a damn. It's awkward and clumsy and tender, just like it's supposed to be, and I couldn't be happier with it. :D

    4. Kurahieiritr

      Kurahieiritr

Grins. I have written some clumsy scenes that conveyed the newness and the emotions well. However, in doing so, I unwittingly made the sex really hot, or so I have been told. ROFL. No worries, I will get through this sooner or later. Just have to get satisfied with it, the hardest part of writing in my case.

I'm going to have to borrow gear, and replace 2 $600.00 a piece Canvas base camp tents before November 10th this year for the yearly base camp service I do for Hunters each year. I have my stomping grounds that have Mule deer and I'm well respected for my abilities as a chuck cook and real abilities to rough it in style. I'm so freaking furious!!!!!!

The insurance company that is supposed to make good on the stolen goods is already talking about how they can't honor their contract so yeah, sucks ass is taking on all new meanings. Plus, my roommate has 4 grand in pro mechanic's tools that got stolen and that's even harsher than my current fucked up situation because he needs the tools for his work!

  12. Working with one of the kids who had a miscarriage, adn dealing with funeral situation for an old friend who lost his battle with colon cancer last week. This year has got to get better soon or I am going to rip out my gray streaked red hair from all the ongoing hard core stress!

Agreed, Bronx. Last time I saw so much chaos was in 2001. I lost a dozen family members that year, most during the infamous Oklahoma City bombing. I've got multiple friends/family facing horrific situations. I'm tied up in multiple messenger/email/phone conversations every single day. Was elected by Granma Nancy Carol to matriarch status on her death bed a few years back. Is a very heavy burden suddenly.

Dale was my backup, and he died a few days ago. I got hit with everyone he was trying to field for me, plus playing peacekeeper for his funeral arrangements. Between the crazy psycho religious mother, an ex wife from hell, his clingy sister, plus current lover, I have been trapped without end online and on the phone at the same time. His funeral will be tomorrow.

Same as last round, the elders all seem to be determined that they are dying as groups. Another married couple within 3 weeks of each other, and so forth has been the norm this year. Moving into a bigger place and other things also been on the catch up list.

The new place is great. No leaking/rotted out ceiling collapsing. Is all that matters to me. The boys have their own room, and I have a bathtub to soak my messed up hip. May still be holding the different families together all the time, but I am not afraid to sleep at night.

  15. Was offered a commision job to write a specific fandom story. Totally not sure about this. I do know the paying party has the same control of content as the contract holder for a ghost writer job. Urk! Do I really wanna get mixed up with a new control freak?

      Kurahieiritr

Believe me, I have not accepted their offer. ROFL. I was simply stunned that someone was actually offering to pay me to write a fan fiction story in their place. The ghost writing contract comment was about the reality of being coerced to write a story for someone else because they are too lazy to write out their ideas on their own.

    3. BronxWench

      BronxWench

You might want to explain to them that they need to write their own fan fiction, because orange is one of those colors that looks dreadful on most people. Right after they brush up on copyright law. This is an area that is getting intense scrutiny, in the post-50 Shades flurry of notoriety that fan fiction is enjoying.

    4. Kurahieiritr

      Kurahieiritr

Understood, and I do know better than most what problems exist with the situation. Mostly, I was in a sarcastic mood from failing miserably at getting things like copyright across to said pigheaded individual. Hence my sarcastic "do I want to get mixed up with this control freak?" line at the end. Sorry if my self directed sarcasm did not come across clearly.

  16. After so long stressed out, and dried up, my plot bunnies poked their heads out of hybernation. I found myself pounding on my keyboard. Was great to feel my shoulders unlock as words appeared, others chasing hard on their heels.

Hehe, glad you liked it. I love http://terribleminds.com blogs because they add humor while keeping everything very realistic. # 14 was my fave of the listing because of the truth involved. The fact it is okay if the pair does not have simultaneous orgasm was mentioned was a relief for me as a writer. I actually thought double bust was required writing, but now found that it need not be so plastic world after all. :) #3 was another fave because it has a lot of truth also. IF you don't get...

I have discovered what you may already know. Editing spawns plunnies. A great many of them. I'm not sure if I should be editing or outlining.

Chuckles. I get a combination of the bunnies and plunnies. My plunnies are multitudes of unrelated animes. Thankfully, I have a knack for ignoring them in favor of getting the revisions done to spite all plunnies. :)

  19. I begin to suspect that people have lost their minds in this area. Late last night, a crazed streaker raced over my roof with police in hot pursuit, waking half the neighborhood. Seems there is some new drug out here that makes people hallucinate, strip, and even try to eat other people. Why??????

    3. GeorgeGlass

      GeorgeGlass

Kush, perhaps? It’s a problem where I live. And my wife (the social worker) says it’s very easy to get hold of a bad batch that can make you extra-crazy—or seriously ill. One day last month, the police had to take a dozen people from the park to the hospital because they got poisoned by the stuff.

    4. Kurahieiritr

      Kurahieiritr

I heard the cops talk about Flakka, so I looked it up online. Damned nasty drug from what I learned, George. The people strip and go crazy, and as they come down they try to go cannibal. The other top contender was bath salts according to the cops.

ROFL. I would agree if it were a normal mead for drinking and getting drunk off of for fun. However, this is not your normal drinking booze variety recipe. It is a genuine ancient recipe passed down through the priesthood in my family for a very long time. So yeah, I make 4 gallons per year because of the time, effort ,and unusual ingredient list that it requires. To be honest, it tends to mess with the senses in ways that normal drunken states do not.

    3. BronxWench

      BronxWench

I can imagine! But for getting squiffy, I stick to wine or sake myself. Sweet drinks give me the worst hangovers.

    4. Kurahieiritr

      Kurahieiritr

Hahaha I am a rum or whiskey gal myself, Bronx. 151 Bacardi or Wild Turkey 101 being my standard drinks. If I want sweet I go with Drambuie, Ameretto, or Grand Marnier. LOL. But, as a rule, I don't really like the taste of many types of alcohol beyond that very small list.
