I rarely write original characters, I mainly uaw rhwm as background characters who help my main character, but don't become romantically involed with the characters that I'm writng fanfiction for. It's a been there, done htat thing for Mary Sues.

"20 Steps to Writing Great Love Scenes" by Karen Wiesner, I used this article to write my first M-rated love scene, and a lot of research, so I found this very helpful.

I'm not super worried about getting reviews from this site, it's a pleasant surprise, I already get oodles of praise for "Subjugated" for Ben 10: Ultimate Alien on ff.net, so I don't really worry about it. I do like the fact that you can rate fics here. That's something that I like.

I only stick to American language and slang, because it's what I'm familar with, anything from another country, I'll probably mess it up unless I actually know what it means.

I don't really have any word turn offs, sex slang works in PWP, but I actually prefer stories I read to have an actual plot and then there just happens to be a love scene in there. On FF.net there's a good Teen Titans author who writes sex scenes, but she's also married and has kids so she actually knows what she's writing about, and has lots of interesting author's notes regarding the subject. Her scens are what peopel would call "hot" but they don't use a whole lot of sex slang.

I'vve never written a lemon before, I wrote one, just for my Ben 10: Ultimate Alien story, I used a lot of the normal terms, because that slang is everywhere, and I did research too, so I mention stuff writer's don't think of. Not that what I wrote is going to make people drool or anything but I did it to be a little different.
