Has anyone taken a look at the series? What characters have caught your eye?

The full run for this Korean Historical drama is currently available on Hulu, http://www.hulu.com/the-great-queen-seondeok This story cries out for fic writers to descend on it en-mass, like ants to an abandoned pick-nick. The first half of the series revolves mostly around beautiful young warriors with a princess disguised as a boy in their midst. Later we meet her darker half in the character of Bidam. He's one of those sociopaths that we all want to see reformed by love just like Spike from Buffy or Lord Sesshomaru from Inuyasha. There are cannon unresolved romances all over the place and the potential for slash fic is unparalleled, as far as I'm concerned. This series is wonderful in and of it self, so I recommend you watch it regardless. However, if anyone could see their way to writing me a story of the loyal, forthright, warrior Alchun being seduced for a night of fun by the always morally questionable Bidam, I would be indescribably grateful. See episode 25 for my favorite pictures of Alchun when he painted his face and planed to commit ritual suicide in protest of the lack of justice for a murder. I have a real weak spot for a beautiful warrior. Give me flowing locks, sharp swords and guyliner and you'll have me panting for more.

I'm glad you've got some honest friends on here that were willing to share that kind of important information with you. For me it's about keeping my mind engaged or disengaged. I good fic will get me seriously wet, but a guy digging straight into my crotch looking for a quick pay off will leave me dry and chaffed. If I'm having sex with someone and I'm still able to think clearly, it's going to be a mediocre experience. Who ever I'm with has to have enough D/s experience to control what I'm thinking about, or they have to get me aroused enough to stop me from thinking. Intoxicants can help with that process. Some of the most intense sex I've ever had has been when I've been stoned out of my mind. The tiniest touch along the side of my rib cage can become the center of the universe. Feather light touches can cause scintillating cascades of energy coursing over my skin. Sensations like this are possible and enjoyable when sober, but it takes a lot more skill and time to get there. Hope this provides a few extra insights.

How about this dream. Last night I dreamed what could almost be a full length movie plot. There were alien spores that if you stepped in them you would end up tracking them around. They started out as tiny little white puff balls and expanded. At one point in the dream a bunch of people ran across the yard of a house and it looked like snow. Once the puffs had developed though they would merge into shapeshifter aliens. Later in the dream Tom Hanks was part of a government agency that was trying to track down the shapeshifters. There was a whole action sequence on a train with cut scenes to a command center. The shapeshifters did a really good job of looking like people but if you touched them or cut them they were like those little Japanese deserts called moshi, gummy on the outside and squishy on the inside. At that point I lost the plot of the dream and wandered into the cafeteria at the government command center and started talking to the people behind the counter about the amazing variety of pastries for sale. Oddly I wasn't that hungry when I woke up.

Has anyone seen the stories about the crazy "I believe in marriage" promise that the righties are making politicians sign this year. It starts out fairly standard with a bunch of stuff about not cheating on your spouse, then it gets weird and bigoted.

That sounds intense. Any idea what archive you read it in?
