  1. I too am irked by a lack of reviews- although, to be fair, I only have three stories uploaded so far. Two of them have a review, the third does not. What irritates me more than lack of reviews is lack of views. One of my stories doesn't have many views because it's buried in a section that doesn't seem to get much traffic, so that's to be expected. However, my most recent story is very easy to find. It's under games/M through R/Resident Evil. When it comes to Resident Evil 4 fan fiction, most people want to read Leon/Ashley, Leon/Ada, Leon/Luis, or Leon/Krauser. Basically, Leon has to be in the pairing for people to want to read it, because all the fan girls think he's hot. (I do not). Apparently, nobody wants to read a fic about the chainsaw wielding Dr. Salvador and one of the decapitation loving Bella Sisters getting it on. Seriously, when it comes to Resident Evil, they're my OTP. One reason my stories don't get many views is probably my choice of fandoms. The really popular fandoms such as Harry Potter, Pokemon, Deathnote, Kingdom Hearts, Star Wars, etc are of no interest to me. I'd say that's probably part of the problem. It won't stop me from writing, though. Like some other here, I mainly write for myself, to create a story that I feel proud of and can read six months later without cringing.
  2. It's rare for me to have a thing for fictional characters. Most of the people I'm hot for are real, but this isn't the thread for that. Despite that, I think Toki Wartooth from Metalocalypse is pretty cute. Although, if the members of Dethklok were real people, I'm pretty sure I'd prefer Nathan or Skwisgaar. Also, I have a bizarre fixation with Dr.Salvador from Resident Evil 4 (why, I truly have no idea). He's that chainsaw wielding guy with a potato sack on his head who will go out of his way to decapitate Leon S. Kennedy. Technically, he's not even a character, just an enemy, but I don't care. Sure, the only thing he seems capable of saying is "DYAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!!" followed by a chainsaw swing, but I'd take that over Leon's horrible one liners any day.
  3. I agree with some of those things, especially mpreg. That's one trend in fanfiction that I simply don't understand, and I have no desire to read about it. In fact, if I see that a story is tagged Mpreg, that prevents me from reading it. The only other tags that will completely turn me off are rape and poop play. I also agree with the 'everyone is gay' rant. This is common in the South park fandom. I like reading slash sometimes, but when every guy in South Park is either gay or bi, that's pretty silly. Something you didn't list that irks me is high school fics. I have zero interest in reading those.
  4. I'm not jealous of Mary Sue, but I do think she's boring, and I hate it when she shows up in my favorite fandoms. My favorite show is Metalocalypse, on Adult Swim. However, I've practically given up on Metalocalpse fan fiction, because most of it is either slash with overused, cliche plot lines (which gets old fast) or it's a Mary Sue fic. These always end up being the same. Mary Sue either wins a contest to meet Dethklok/is C.F. Ofdensen's daughter/snuck into Mordhaus by disguising as a Klokateer, etc. She's always under 21 years of age, and she's always short but otherwise flawless (with a troubled past, of course!). Within ten minutes of being in Mordhaus, Mary Sue gets the whole band- Nathan, Toki, Skwisgaar, Pickles, and Murderface, to fall head over heels in love with her. Of course, she feels the same way about at least two of them. Drama ensues, and Mary Sue causes the whole band to fight for her affections. In the end, she has to choose who to be with, and it usually plays out along the lines of "Omg I can't choose! Nathan is just so sexy, but Toki is such a sweetheart! Why can't I just have both?" UGH. I got sick of reading that shit after the first two times. Self inserts also irritate me, unless it's done a proper way, and I'm not really sure how that proper way would be. I was browsing the Resident Evil fics on FF.net, and I saw so many self insert stories. You know, the "I, a Mary Sueseemingly ordinary teenage girl, gets sucked into Resident Evil! Then, I get to bang Wesker! Never mind the fact that he's a cold hearted super villain who's 20 years older than me." So really, I find Mary Sues more boring and annoying than jealously inducing.
  5. I've got a couple plot bunnies, but I'm going to write them myself and turn them into stories when I get a bit of time. To be honest, I'm a n00b at writing erotic fanfiction, I've never written a sex scene before. Each story I have planned will have a different orientation, one will be M/M, one will be F/F, and one will be human/inanimate object. Here are the ideas I've got: 1. fandom: Jackass. Danger Ehren has a stalker, a TDHOFC (totally disgusting, hideous original female character) who keeps trying and failing to score with him. Pairing will be Ehren McGhehey/Dave England. 2. fandom: Drawn Together. Princess Clara is a racist homophobe who hates anyone who isn't a white Christian. Foxxy Love is going to teach her a thing or two to change her mind. Pairing will be Princess Clara/Foxxy Love. The two stories above will have sexual scenes, but they'll be humor stories for the most part. The third will have a different feel. 3. fandom: Marilyn Manson (but not focusing him): Pogo confesses to Ginger Fish that he's never been attracted to human women, and that he's instead sexually attracted to computers, keyboards, and certain other electronic devices. There will be a scene where Pogo has sex with his spring mounted keyboard, but at the moment I'm not sure how to write that. As I said, I will be turning all three of these into stories, but if anyone else would also like to utilize one of these plot bunnies, that would be alright.
  6. I've fixed my disclaimer. The story is called 'Repulsion' and it's filed under celebrities > misc. > crossovers.
