  2. I am working on a story about a 16 year old boy in a prison camp. I am at the point where this sadistic guard maybe 3 years older than him beat him up. The boy is now looking for payback and I am looking for a method of payback that works. I want something that will hurt the guard enough to get him really pissed off, but not enough to disable him from performing his duties. Also whatever is used for this payback should be small enough to be able to sneak into a high security facility in the smallest of orifices . Any ideas?
  3. First of all thank you for your assistance. I am writing a story that is a first for me and I have realized I am going to have trouble classifying labels and tags. The story is not a romance, love or even strait up smut story. Instead it is a drama about boys in a boot camp for misbehaving teens. The story is probably more heavy handed on violence and themes such as friendships and personality changes. The sexual stuff is pretty tame, except for one chapter and even that is not strait forward. Outside of this one chapter their are maybe one or 2 seens of boys comparing in the shower, but really no relationships or even sexual attraction is apparent. At the end of the story we don't even get a sense of the main characters (or any other characters sexuality). The on chapter that throws everything off has nothing to do with relationships. Instead it consists of guards retaliating against the inmates with use of penetrative anal and urethral searches. Because of this I have a few questions on the labels I should use. I know cock and ball torture is going to be one of the labels but besides that I am on the fence about a few others. I'm not sure if I should use the fingering label. One guard does have his fingers up the rear of several characters but it is for search (covertly punishment) reasons and doesn't have any sexual conentation. Another label is rape. Some might consider these penetrative searches rape, but again their is no sexual pleasure being derived from them. It is for search/ punishment purposes only. I am also unclear about the slash label. Their is male to male contact (fingers up people's butts) but again its not for a sexual purpose. Also would you classify this as controversial even for adults? The last question I have is the rating. This one chapter is quite brutal but the rest are pretty moderate. How would you rate the story. Thank you. I appreciate your advice on this matter.
  4. I have several Ideas for the Arthur, Rugrats/ All grown up and Rocket Power fandom's that I have been unable to develop into full length stories. I am looking for someone who can take some of these ideas and finish them. They content is mostly Male/Male (some bisexual and F/M ideas also) and they range from erotic nudity to hardcore sex. I'm not into real harsh things like rape and BDSM, however I am okay with milder fetishes such as docking and diapers. If you want to take a crack at one of my ideas please indicate what fandom you want to do, what you want the pairing to be (M/M, M/M/F, M/F) and how hardcore you want the sex to be. Also please provide a link to a sample story you have written. I look forward to working with you and finishing off some of these ideas!
  5. Before I start let me just say that I am being 100% genuine. I am not trying to spite the archive, I really am curious as to why this rule exists. A few months ago I wrote a few stories. After the first one had hundreds of hits but no reviews I decided to include a note in the bottom of the second story that basically said I wasn't sure how my fics were going over and would only post a second chapter if I got enough people reviewing. A week or so later I was surprised to find a message saying my story would be hidden because of the message. Apparently it is against the rules to "hold a story hostage to reviews" and the reason it isn't allowed is because people get upset. Now this to me doesn't make sense. Why would the simple action of someone getting "upset" be enough to deny the author the right to ask his fans for something as simple as a review? It's not like I was demanding money. It was my story and frankly I was going to take this action weather or not it was stated. At least this way the readers knew what I was going or not going to do and could make an informed choice to review or not review that would directly affect me posting a second chapter or not. I would just like to know what the reasoning was for disallowing this type of statement.

  7. Dear Valued Reader, Over the past few years I have been pretty vocal about the problem of ever declining reviews across a number of fanfiction sites. I have sought reasons why reviews have declined and solutions to boost review activity; however I have never before explained publicly why reviews are so important to me as a fanfiction writer. So below I would like to tell you why reviews matter to me. First you have to understand that I never intended to become a fanfiction writer. The first story I ever wrote (7 years ago) was meant to spark activity in one of my favorite but nonexistent (at the time) fandoms. (I was a reader of fanfiction way before I started to write). With a shocking lack of confidence I transformed the basic outline of what I wanted to see someone else write into a coherent story. Still lacking confidence and sure that I would be told how much the story sucked I posted it, thinking it would inspire people to improve on what I thought was pure garbage. The next day after school, I nervously checked my email. My heart pounded when I saw their were not one but several reviews to my story. I was sure they had only written in to tell me how bad the story was. Nervous I opened the first one. “This was one of the best stories I have ever read. Please write more.” I couldn’t believe it. Surely this review was a fluke. Then opening the other ones I found much of the same. People loved my story. Wanted more even. Suddenly I began to swell with a feeling of pride. Something that I had created had caused someone else who I didn't even know joy. So much so they were willing to write in and ask for more. At that point I completely fell in love with the feeling of being able to please other people with my writing. I began to think of other plots I could write. At that moment a fanfiction writer was born. It’s been a long time since that first story. I have written dozens if not hundreds of stories across multiple fandoms, on multiple sites, under several different pen names. But one thing remains constant. The feeling I get from reading that someone enjoyed my work keeps me writing. It keeps me up till 1 am when I have work the next morning. It keeps me involved in the fanfiction community. In my opinion it’s really not that much to ask. I create work for the enjoyment of others at no charge. All I ask is that you leave a few words telling me what you thought. This is my payment so to speak. A way for fans to tell me their opinions of the story while keeping me motivated and even giving me ideas for the future. I know you’re not purposefully not reviewing. You have a busy life, but so do the writers who are creating these works that you enjoy. Most in their spare time after a long day of work or on the weekends. So please the next time you enjoy a story please take a moment to write a short review. That short sentance or two will really brighten up that writers day. It might even inspire a new chapter or another story all togeather. Sometimes all it takes is a short “That story was great! Keep going” to inspire someone or rekindle and old flame. Thank you for listening and please pass this letter on to your friends, family and anyone else who reads fanfiction.
  8. When I first registered I had my emial set to hidden. However now I wish to show my email but cannot figure out how. Can someone please explain to me step by step how to unhide my email adress from my profile.
  9. Author: Erock Title: Foreskin Fornication Summary: A 16 year old Brain introduces Arthur to the pleasures of docking. Feedback: I appreciate all feedback. Feedback keeps me motivated to write more and allows me to judge if people are enjoying my stories. Fandom: Arthur (Cartoons) Pairing: Arthur/ Brain Warnings: Anthro, M/M Minor, Oneshot Solo story or chaptered story: Solo URL: http://cartoon.adult-fanfiction.org/story.php?no=600094428 Thank you in advance for reading and reviewing! Can't wait to hear what you have to say!
  10. Exactly. The author is using his/her skills to provide entertainment free of charge, and all that the person is asking in return is that you leave a comment or two at the end. To me that seems like a fair trade.
  11. I have noticed that over the past year or two the number of reviews on stories has plummeted. It is to the point now where a story with hundreds or even thousands of views has 0 OR 2 reviews! I have to say this is a serious demotivator to post anything new to my account or even do planned expansions to existing stories. What are your feelings and fustrations with the lack of reviews and what can be done to encourage people to leave a few words.
  12. First of there is a difference between good writing and writing that interests particular readers. For example I hate the works of some historically famous authors. They are not bad writers they just chose topics that don't interest me or made a story that is to slow for my pace. Doesn't make them bad writers. After all many others adore there work. The things that make me distinguish between good and bad writing (no matter the subject or pace) are flow and emotion. I have read many summaries that peaked my interest only to get into the story and be unable to finish due to it reading like an itinerary (list). The character does this that and the other thing goes to bed, gets up does that and this. No emotion and no natural flow as would happen in real life. By flow I mean the characters actions leading into future actions. Such as a character having a nightmare leading him into looking tired later in the story. For me when the subject and pace fit my personal style it is flow and emotion that draw me into or lack of that push me away from a story.
  13. First of all I am talking about the PBS Cartoon Arthur. I am trying to do an Arthur/ Brain slash fic. I have a few ideas but I am getting stuck in different points on the different ideas. The first Idea Arthur is 18 and a high school senior. Muffy rents a cabin in the woods for a weekend party. The guys find a hot tub and all go skinny dipping convincing a skeptical Arthur to do the same. The idea is great up to this point however I have been unable to make a believable transition from sitting in a hot tub naked to sexual contact between Arthur and The Brain. If anyone has an Idea about how to proceed after they are naked in the hottub please post here. The second Idea has Arthur between 13-15. This one has given me even more problems. I have the core which is that Brain walks in on Arthur while he is taking a shower. Arthur is so embarrassed and it affects their friendship so much Brain allows Arthur to see him naked in order to make things even. Now again I do not now how to get this from a simple "showing" story to a more sexually explicit story. Also with this one I have had trouble with the beginning figuring out just what situation would cause Brain to walk in on Arthur in the first place or from which perspective (Brain or Arthur) the story should even be told from. If you have any ideas please post them below
  14. I recently saw a thread on this board about a letter to your 16 year old self. When I started writing I realized my problems started earlier and I had to go back even further for my info to be relevant. If you want post a letter of your own to your 10 year old self with some advice that will help you in the future. Dear 10 year old me, Come out of the closet now! I know these recently discovered feelings are scary and you just hope they will go away, but they don't. This is not a phase. It is not something you will grow out of and if you don't confront it now you will regret it for the rest of your life and miss out on some great experiences. I know you are just a scared little boy and the world is not quite ready to accept this lifestyle yet. But trust me it will save you loads of heartache in the future. You must be brave and embrace this head on even if you are alone in doing so. Plus you have more support than you know ( and no your parents don't try to send you away.) Try out for some sports teams. I know you suck at sports but it's more about the team comrodery than physical ability. In the future you want to be able to watch movies like the Mighty Ducks without feeling sad, like you missed out on a big part of your childhood. Be prepared for heartache. You two are inseparable now but one day your best friend will dump you in favor of the "cool" kids. Don't hang around and beg him to hang out with you again. Let him go and one day he will realize the mistake he made. Don't dwell on being "cool". By the time you become a young adult the world is a much harder place. Blue collar work no longer provides the decent standard of living it did for some of your friends parents. You will gladly trade 12 years of dorkiness for your above average intelligence and the ability to live comfortably while your classmates struggle. Seize opportunity. Be safe but fool around a little bit sexually with friends. Take the initiative and bring up the subject, some will be willing. Tell the boys you will develop crushes on how you feel about them. You might be surprised how they react, and you never know where it can lead. I know you hate it now but don't be surprised if at some point in the future you develop a love for writing. Especially fictional love stories with a sexual theme. Finally don't be in a rush to grow up. Once you reach the adult world you find it's not all it's cracked up to be. Enjoy being a kid and carefree. You will realize later that you would gladly trade the few freedoms adulthood brings for the chance to relieve your childhood any day. Thats about all the advice I have for you. Hopefully I can help you avoid some painful pitfalls. Well catch up in 12 years and see how you did. Your friend forever, My 22 year old self
