I just discovered the show “Hot Ones” on youtube today. It’s stupid. Just an interview show where they talk while eating progressively spicier wings. Now I can’t stop watching! I’m obsessed. Like I wanna see someone throw a tantrum so bad – someone’s gotta, right?! But Tommy Chong friggin killlled it! Best eppie yet. 

Wonderful way to enjoy a heat wave: spend 8 hours trying to figure out why email took a powder 8pm last night. settings are fine, but cannot connect. whee!
(even the eweb inteface was down for 6 hours) maybe proxy settings? or I forgot to sacrifice a chicken on Bill Gates’ birhtday) email spotty until further notice

A bird recently shat on my head.  Apparently that’s lucky, although I can’t say it felt lucky at the time.  Still, perhaps the lucky bit was that it was a seagull and not one of the 28lb pelicans we were surrounded by.

Considering it made it into the title, the Wardrobe had a much smaller role than the Lion and the The Witch.

Sooo tired of thinking up names for characters. Time to start writing with variables instead.

Decided to finally put an image in my profile banner. but how do you represent cross-genre interests?  <u portrait leans fantasy, so the banner went SF and I can’t draw. 
Honestly I’m avoiding some paperwork until after the banking day ends...

Why do deer seem to have cloaks of invisibility when it comes to their game of dodge-cars?

I want to say something witty and start a profound, fascinating discussion, but I’m lazy. Someone do it for me. 

Finished a story that I’m not sure if it’s a novella or novelette over the weekend. I’m casting around to start another original, but feel no sparks. (while a handful of semi fanfic clamored for seed starts last month) …need more time!!

Just found myself reading a graphic handjob scene with a 15 year old with zero warning or tags. This is what I get for getting a book from the literary section of the library rather than reading AFF.

I’m supposed to be writing right now. Because I said so. But nobody tells me what to do! Not even me!

What happens when I make my grocery list in Google Docs on my phone:
I start typing “bread”; phone suggests “breasts.”
I start typing “half-and-half”; phone suggests “half-assed.”
Have I mentioned that no one should ever borrow my phone?

My friend had knee replacement surgery, and we finally got the Jeep windshield replaced. Making progress is a good feeling. My friend’s finally on the mend and won’t be confined to a walker much longer.  For all the craziness in life, I’m feeling pretty good about the last couple of weeks now that they are done. Now to focus on the next thing on the must do list.

Just said my goodbyes to three specialists because they’ve figured out whatever I have is not in their wheelhouses… They’re still not sure exactly what it is, but they’re pretty sure it’s in infectious disease territory now, so yay! Less trips to the big city hopefully! And by next week I should actually be receiving some treatment. Which will be nice. Been going downhill since March, and nobody wanted to treat me before they knew what they were dealing with. 

Coworkers were talking about cricket at lunch, how they dould last five days, and all I could think of was it'd be even better if the players were naked while doing so...

Nothing worse than trying to make toast and having to wait fifteen minutes for a firmware update – (one of my characters)

I’m definitely into the “revision” portion of the story, ep 17 and 18 are ready for posting, so that’s why I went ahead and posted #14 earlier today.

Spent 45 minutes hanging out under a bridge today. Note to self: Check the friggin’ forecast before you decide to take your bike to work. 

And it’s a weekend (for me).  If I make enough progress, I’m tempted to post ch 14 a week early… depends.

Have just noticed that when the program was run (or however it worked!) to move tags from the old place in summary box to the new place in their own box, it moved all my “MCD” tags as “MC” and left the D behind. This isn’t the first time I’ve unexpectedly had the D in the wrong place. I’ll get ‘em updated in a few days as very busy today, and apologies to any searching MC fans who hate character death.

I saved a spider from the bathtub twice today. He gets in there and runs frantically at the slippery walls trying to get out. 10 seconds ago i watched him run back in and fall like a kid closing his eyes and running across a busy street. 

If you were a demon, just recently raised from the dead, like within the last hour, and knew nothing of the world, where would you go? Inquiring minds and all that.

Extended weekend is over, time to go back to work
