On December 14th, there was a tornado in a small town about 30 miles from where I live. It was a category EF2 and did a considerable amount of damage. Fortunately, there were no serious injuries or fatalities.

::hugs:: Having dealt with a rash of those here in NYC over the summer, as unlikely as that is, I can completely empathize! I'm glad no one was seriously hurt.

We had some minor injuries, and a whole lot of property damage in my neighborhood. Other areas got hit harder, though, with multiple instances.
