Read only mode is still in effect, yes.  We think we found the source of how the injections happened, and Manta is working on that now.

We had a serious set of injection attacks on the archives Tuesday, September 13. This affected story titles and disclaimers being turned into site redirects. To maintain security and protection of our users, the archives are in read-only mode till we figure out how it was done and patch it.
If you posted a story or an update on Sept 13th, it has been lost due to data restoration (backup from Sept 13, 1am).
We apologize for any inconvenience caused by this, but have deemed the read-only mode necessary for the time being. 

Update :  We are slowly rolling out of Read-Only Mode. Originally we were going to jut patch it, but it was decided it would benefit members more to roll out Fiction Portal 3.0 which as planned for our 20th anniversary in November. Anywhere you see the new layout, it means that area is no longer in read-only mode.
Fiction Portal 3.0 has some much requested features, changes, and some perks for those who have donated to the site.

- We have excellent FAQs for most things regarding both Forum and Archive in the “Please Read” section of the main forum
- If you have a question that you can’t find the answer to, we are more than happy to help in the “General Staff Questions” forum
- Pointy things are to be left at the entrance, in the closet, where staff can steal it and tell you you never brought it in to begin with
- and we do tend to encourage drinking (virtual or IRL is up to you), often heavily… 
- oh, and we usually don’t bite… unless asked to… if we do without being asked, there are probably spray bottles randomly around the place to get the biter to stop… 
- and finally, (just to quote the motto of the only heavy metal music festival that my country hosts) don’t be an ass,  
- otherwise, we’re fairly normal around here… I think.

I’m actually not seeing any stories with the pairing of Fugaku/Naruko in the Naruto subdomain, if that’s what you’re looking for.
Keep in mind that I don’t speak or read Spanish, and am relying on the dubious authority of Google Translate to try and figure out what you’re asking. This rarely ends well, I’ve found.

I was able to reset the password. Turns out I can’t read and was using symbols that aren’t allowed when I tried to reset previously.

The reason no one has written anything like this is because Anne Rice filed cease and desist orders with every fan fiction archive, AFF included, prohibiting the hosting of any derivative work based on her copyrighted material. While we are aware that Ms Rice is now deceased, her estate has not lifted the cease and desist order, and therefore, nothing based on any of Anne Rice’s work will be hosted on AFF.

By lucky coincidence, a genetic mutation makes them impervious to garlic-infused holy water, it’s now a health tonic.  They also use silver bolts for toothpicks, after all, dental hygiene is important for those perfect pearly whites!  Anyways, make sure to get *ALL* their hearts to thwart the regeneration process.
