Holy cow, Neko-baby…

We just have that miserable sort of heavy mist version of rain which is too light for an umbrella and too heavy to go without. And we had a baseball lunch thing… I need Motrin, and lots of it.

Storm has blown over, and electricity came back on about an hour ago   Gotta love storms up here… at least on my little corner of the island. 

 But it’s nice to have all your stuff back. 

Oh, it is  even if it means wasting two days sorting everything into different boxes, and taking to storage  I need to win the lottery so I can buy a place of my own, to store all my stuff  

IMO, your bucket list needs editing.

Mmm, you have a point, George. But this is more the “I’ve never...” bucket list. Another item on that list is “I’ve never broken a bone.” My plan is to keep that one on the list until I die. I just do not want to know how that feels. 

But, at least now I know what the first signs of heatstroke feel like, and how to avoid getting it again.   

I’ve broken my arm and my big toe in separate incidents.  My toes I just left to heal on its own, but my arm was the shape of a Z so I couldn’t really leave that to heal on its own. lol

Well, me, I’d put on something like a bathing suit, find a sunny spot, and bask happily. Even more so if I remember wine and a good book.

If only that were allowed at school  

What can I say? I’d have been on the quad, soaking up the sun and hoping to copy notes from someone later. Come to think of it, I should finish my “why I want to go back to school” essay, shouldn’t I? 

I think I might need a quintuple one… thank you, Bronxie. 

flower arranging??? yeesh and I thought I was bad!

I feel horrible saying this, but thankfully it wasn’t me this time, but the boy sitting next to me. He managed to slice into the side of his finger about 1/3 of an inch, all the way through from front to back. The doctor at the health center sent him to hospital to get stitches. It was kind of horrifying, and I’m still cringing.

Oh, yes, I agree with that, and the same to you as well.

Lady at the call center said that they're sending it right away, and it should be here at the end of the week, start of next at the latest... I'm annoyed, but not enough to go growl at them... but I AM going to use this when it comes time to ask for a new credit card...
