Duck is good, actually. The trick is to put some stale bread in the cavity to absorb some of the grease—it’s definitely fattier than turkey or chicken. Or you could split it and cook it on a rack with the cavity facing down.
I’m not all that fond of goose, actually. It tastes fishier to me, to be honest.

I’m merely admiring. The best I could find was a ten pounder. That suspiciously seems to be rather water heavy.

It really wasn’t that big a deal. That man should not have tried to take the turkey I coveted, the one with the extra plump breast and drumsticks a Rockette would envy. I’m sure the crows in the parking lot at Stew’s appreciated the treat, though...

Me… too far to trek for family, so got a 3lb turkey breast for tomorrow.

Thank you kindly! I’m delaying our feast for a day because my brother in law is working on Thanksgiving (he’s an RN) but there is a nearly 21 pound turkey waiting to be roasted on Friday, and I only had to offer to maim three people to get that beauty.  

Now you need a suitably epic backstory.
