  1. And, honestly, him (and you) being new to flirting, some fumbling is expected. A total newbie NEVER gets it all right on the first try. If he's doing well, he'll probably get too encouraged and take it too far. Stuff like that.
  2. You could always make it to where the aim was to take the other person's clothes off with a kunai without leaving a scratch on them. Anko'd probably start it. Could start out as a game between all ninja at the bar and they drag Shikamaru into it, but he catches Anko's attention.
  3. I can beta starting in about a month. Have seen all four seasons, can borrow them from my boyfriend's sister (who is also a friend of mine and my best friend's fiancee) at need, and own the final season, too. I am very quick at editing, willing to give constructive criticism, share advice that I've been given, etc. And I've always been a teacher's favorite because I'm creative, good at anything to do with writing, and have a very humorous but mostly even temperament. Lol. Although my mind can get rather twisted. But if you're still looking for a beta--as I said, I'll be available starting in about a month, should be able to get your works back to you in a few days to a week, depending on their length.
  4. I agree with what these people before me have written. And if you switch up methods, it works, too. AND, personal experience here, but when the person you're with keeps stopping you from having release (whether it's by cutting off circulation and sparking a dry release that's unsatisfying or by pulling back just before you fall over the edge) it IS torture. Pleasant sexual torture, but torture nonetheless. And sometimes one person will push the other through multiple orgasms before taking their own. (Note: this is more difficult for men to do than women, as men take longer to recover than women)
  5. Gotcha. Sent an email. Use my ideas any way you wish that fits.
  6. *fangirl squeal* Ooh, yes!! Please! I will bounce around ideas with you and beta the fic if you wish! *dances with glee*
  7. My avatar is currently Gir, from Invader Zim. Why? Well, I felt like a spaz at the time, so it fit. Lol
  8. Perfectly fine by me. Just send something to me at wolf.kin.flight@gmail.com with the heading Beta, and I'll help you out.
  9. Oh, it's possible to do, but it's quite difficult to do well. Which is the main problem. Most people don't notice when they change the tense of the verb from present to past or future (or any combination thereof) so readers lack interest and the story flops. But the main key to writing in the present tense is to NOT CHANGE THE TENSE OF YOUR VERBS. It can be a challenge, but if you read your story out loud to yourself, you should be able to catch it when you change tenses (or forget words, or whatever). And a good beta helps, too.
  10. And so far no one else has accepted my help but one, which is part of why I replied to so many people. And the other person I'm working with isn't even going to have time to send me anything for at least two weeks.
  11. So my name is interesting, is it? It's the one I use most on any given site, simply because no one else is the "Cousin of 'su"... 'su is short for Yamesu, one of my cousin's nicknames. He's also known as the Fuzzin, because my friend Mizu tried to nickname him Fuzzy and got it stuck in my head, so when I went to call him my cousin--instead, I called him my Fuzzin. We knew immediately it would stick. Although, that was also the day she decided my new nickname was Foofie, so.... *sigh* Of course, 'su's friends also nicknamed me The Evil Cousin, so we all got a kick out of that. And all because I yelled at one of his friends and scared him so badly that he nearly wet himself. He wouldn't voluntarily come close to me for years. And we were in high school when it happened. XD I replied, btw.
  12. I could probably help with that. But I'd have to see an example to be sure.
  13. I can do that. PM me and we'll set it up.
  14. Ooh, hon, PM me your email address, and we can get to work. I totally agree to answer all the needs you listed.
  15. Well, so long as I don't have to know the material you're writing about.... I don't squick, I'm not going to go MIA without exceptional reason, and even then editing helps clear my head, so I like to keep up with it. Everyone I write with, or friends who read my works or have me read theirs, they ALL come to me for the occasional beta critique--even the ones who are English whizzes themselves. So when it comes to that, have no fear. I know what I'm doing when it comes to grammar, spelling, and punctuation. And when I tell someone where they've gone wrong with their writing, I do it nicely, with lots of praise for what they did right. And a simple cure for omitting words or doubling them: read what you wrote out loud to yourself. You'll almost always catch your mistakes that way.
  16. Well. I'm a good beta, and I'm available. Hellsing is absolutely no problem, though you have to understand I haven't seen it in ages. X-Men and Harry Potter I can help you with to a somewhat lesser degree, as I haven't seen or read anything involving them in even longer. And the other two you listed I haven't even looked at yet. But if you have no problems with me not knowing when you're making things OOC, then I can certainly help you in a timely manner with all of your works. Just PM me to let me know.
  17. If you still need help, I'm available. I have no problems helping you with any of the issues you mentioned--and I know how to help you, because I've been critiqued and given advice so many times that I just keep passing it on. I'm excellent with editing, and often am used as a sounding board for ideas to write, although I have been known to return the favor. PM me if you're interested.
  18. Because everyone could generally use more help, I'll add my bit. I AM used to being a beta. I'm currently one of three writers for two collaboration fics, and neither of my partners has a good grasp of writing the English language. Because I know just how devastating criticism can be, I always use the kid gloves and tell people how they could make their work better. I have been given writing tips by professional authors--some pretty big-name ones, at that. I pass it on to others, so that what I read will improve. Dyslexic? Runs in the family, so I'm used to it. And, honestly, sometimes I have issues with it, too. But never in my beta mode, oddly enough. Mental override, much? *disgusted sigh* I'm 21, don't tend to squick over pretty much anything written that doesn't involve the color pink in spades, and mostly read fics of a more dark nature, anyways. PM me if you'd like my help.
  19. Well, so long as I don't have to know about figure skating, I can beta for you if you need me to. PM me if you'd like that, and I'll give you my email address so we can get to work. I pretty much guarantee I won't rip you apart about anything, though I do give lots of constructive criticism and I may tease you a bit now and then. Sounding board? I can do that--and I'll use you as one of my sounding boards, too. I already have several, but another never hurts, and I can bounce your ideas off them, too, to get you another few opinions. I have no problems with slash or explicit scenes, so we're good there. Let me know, hm?
  20. PM me and I'll send you my email address so we can get to work. Don't worry--for a beta, I wear kid gloves when dealing with the people I work with--excepting one of my collaboration partners, who teases me and gets wicked verbal responses thrown back in his face (and generally I stick my tongue out at him, too). If I tell you you're doing something wrong, I'll tell you how to fix it--or at least the method that works for me, which usually helps others. So don't think I'm going to be mean to you. It's not my style.
  21. If you want a beta, I'm here. I have free time. Put me to use. Be warned that from time to time I may tweak your phrasing to make your work more interesting to the readers, but apart from that, I'll only change errors. PM me if you're interested in taking my help, and I'll give you my email.
  22. I will beta for Gundam Wing, Outlaw Star, Yu Yu Hakusho, Bleach, Star Ocean 3, Inu Yasha, and anything else I've read/watched. If it's not listed, feel free to ask me about it. I will NOT beta InuYashaxKagome, InuYashaxSesshomaru, SesshomaruxKagome, anything involving sex with Kuwabara, or any combination thereof--although if you want to have, say, Kuwabara walk in on someone, that's a whole different story. Those spins have been over-done to the point where I can't even stand looking at the pairings or trying to read those fics. And InuYashaxKagome is just so...uninspired. It's what the anime's creator intended--that or InuYashaxKikyo, anyways, and I, personally, feel that Kikyo ought to stay fully dead for once. She's essentially either a ghost or a zombie, and she doesn't exhibit much of either's characteristics. As for me: Call me Cuzosu or Foofie, whichever you prefer. I have an often morbid and highly twisted sense of humor that likes to take literal spins on things. Ideas get bounced around my group (or my head) so often that we come up with some really hilarious and yet disturbing takes on things. Feel free to join us in that--because we all bat around ideas and give each other credit. My English teachers adored me because of my extensive vocabulary, art of rephrasing everything, and the simple fact that I excel when it comes to grammar, spelling, and punctuation. My collaboration partners for two other fics I'm writing (three of us for the Naruto fic, only two of the three of us for the Bleach fic) rely on me for my beta abilities. They count on me to catch grammar, spelling, and punctuation mistakes, as well as to rephrase things to make them more interesting. And, honestly, I'm volunteering because I'm bored. "Es ist langweilig," as the Germans say. "It is boring." I don't have enough to occupy my time and interest, so I suppose this might be interpreted as a plea for help. Feel free to respond here or PM me for my email address. Thanks.

    Naruto Challenge

Hm. I'm not so good at writing lemons with Naruto in them.... Do you mind if I leave out lemons with him? I can write them with some others, and if one occurs to me with him in it, then I'll include it, but.... Quite frankly, I have yet to be inspired enough to write lemons with him in them. I have, however, written some really odd lemons with other characters, including an AnkoxTsume/TsumexAnko (they keep fighting over who gets top).
  24. Okay, I'll take your challenge. Not sure when I'll finish it, but I'll go ahead and post on AFF . net when I do, under my username Cuzosu. Your plea has my mind spinning deviously.
  25. Methinks I'll adopt your third plot.... With a few of my own twists thrown in, of course. When I finish writing it (or rather, when I finish each chapter) I'll post it up on AFF under my username Cuzosu. Have I quite started yet? No. But this plot of yours has inspired me, so who knows how long it will take. (Most of the stories I write alone have at least 13 pages per chapter, Times New Roman font size 12.) So. I doubt it will be up before a month has passed, but after that, start checking. *disappears behind comp screen while muttering to self*
