I think I'm going to be posting new chapters of "My Wish Is Your Command" at a faster rate than I expected. The story is easy to write because it has no real plot arc; it's more like a series of slice-of-life stories presented in chronological order. Barring some major distraction, I’ll be posting chapter 2 tomorrow.

The final chapter of Rashomonster is posted! Chapter 3: The Why of It

Glad you’re liking Rashomonster, the final chapter of which I expect to post before the weekend is out. As for the Little Rose sequel, there is much yet to be done.

I didn't think this chapter would work without Ana having some serious internal conflict to deal with before the sex (as with Cristina in chapter 8). I thought about having her pay him afterward for that very reason, but since Lincoln didn't actually tell anyone where he was going, it didn't seem necessary from a plot standpoint. Plus, I didn't want to put Lincoln in the position of feeling like a boy-whore. Thank you! Lincoln's crush on Ms. DiMartino was the main reason why I wanted to include her in this story (along with her general hotness, of course). In the other chapters, Lincoln is driven mainly by horniness; I wanted one chapter in which he had another motivation, too, one which would make the sex scene different from the others. "Psst! Nobody tell Clyde about Rule 34!" She's definitely not as cautious as she should be. Agnes strikes me as one of those adults who never decided that the time for youthful wildness was over. Ooooohhhh, that was...clever, I will grudgingly admit. Thanks for the review!

Been making lots of progress on lots of stories this week, but no especially noteworthy progress on anything except for the third and final chapter of “Rashomonster,” which I expect to post this weekend.

So two things happened today that I didn’t expect. First, I spend time this afternoon that I should have spent on other things finishing the draft of “Just One Rule” chapter 9. Second, when I sent it to Jomahawk for beta, he responded, like, within the hour. So contrary to what I said earlier today, Chapter 9: No Substitute is now posted! As a result, three of my stories are now within one chapter of completion: “Cartooniverse,” “Rashomonster,” and “Just One Rule.” But I’ve got plenty more stories warming up in the bullpen.

Drafting the next chapter of “Just One Rule” is taking longer than expected, mainly because it’s been a busy weekend. Now I’m guessing it won’t be beta-ready until Tuesday. I’ve also had the first-world problem of having lots of reviews to respond to. Lady Freelove went on a reading-and-reviewing binge yesterday, and I’ve gotten a couple of reviews of “My Wish Is Your Command” and of original stories (including the first-ever AFF review of “The Wrong Locker Room”). Pretty happy about all that.

Chapter 3 of “Cartooniverse” is posted! Now the onstage action really gets out of hand. I’m making good progress on the next chapter of “Just One Rule,” but the progress just shows me how much more there is to do. In contrast, the first chapter of my Simpsons story, “My Wish Is Your Command,” should be ready to post soon. This story is kind of a ripoff of my own original story “Flesh,” and it’s very much a ripoff of that Treehouse of Horror episode that ripped off that Twilight Zone episode where Bill Mumy played a kid who was omnipotent and was a real brat about it.

So next, I guess I’m going to try to focus on finishing the next chapter of “Just One Rule.” Also, chapter 3 of “Cartooniverse” is on to its second beta, so I may be posting that soon. Lastly, I expect to start posting the first bits of my Simpsons story, “My Wish Is Your Command,” in the near future.

The epilogue of “Biological Imperative” is posted! Next up will be chapter 2 of “Rashomonster,” probably followed by the next story of “The Power Arcane.”

In accordance with my stated plans, I have finished drafting chapter 3 of "Cartooniverse." It is now in the hands of Jomahawk for its first beta read. Not at all in accordance with my stated plans, I've just finished and posted chapter 8 of "Biological Imperative."
